Good Morning All and Happy Sunday!

No internet this last week....I missed everyone!

Congrats on your wedding, Cyprus. Keep the honeymoon going!;)

My last order emerged from customs land unopened and arrived on Thursday. Two weeks ..not bad. I'm so happy to have Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich again. Yummy :vapor:

The cherry blossoms are in full bloom...I have a huge, old tree right outside my kitchen window. It's just beautiful. Everything is just bursting with that wonderful fresh, spring green. :)

I'm off to cheer on the runners in the Toronto Marathon. Have a Wonderful Day All. :)

So sorry you're still getting snow Lark...wish I had an artist talent like watercolor painting...I have several Aiden Shade watercolor "prints" Love his stuff & it is perfect for me in the desert southwest.

Welcome back LouP

JJ...Your posts always bring a smile!

A relaxing, nappy Sunday may be just what the doctor orders Annette & that weather sounds perfect for a lame movie, a cozy blanket & the couch!

We got our 25 ton of rock late Friday afternoon...it's all in the back yard but we still have a pile to spread! OMG I could hardly walk this morning....I'll post some pictures tomorrow. I about died when that dump truck dropped that huge load. It is gorgeous rock though mined right here in Arizona. What is done looks great. The area that I washed the dust off of looks beautiful. No muddy whippets this monsoon season! Their housekeeper (me) is a very happy girl!!

Hugs Kitty
Happy Sunday V V ers....Yuck for tomorrow!

Good Morning All,

Another beautiful day here...we are lucking out with the weather. I've finally packed up the winter coats and boots, gloves and scarves. It's past time to get back in shape after this long, somewhat less active winter. Nothing left to hide under..:p

Desert...all that rock work sounds like fun. I can't quite figure what you're doing with them though. Covering the yard with rocks?
Annette...how's the healing going?

Kittypaheee...how are y'all doing down there in tha south? :D

Too many voices coming at me at the moment....be back later....Enjoy your day everyone!:)

Good morning! :)

Hiya, LouP! Healing is going well although a bit frustrating. I've always been quite strong so I'm used to bouncing back from things right away yet here I am still house bound. Ah well, I must have patience--definitely getting stronger every day! Hope you have a wonderful day!

Good afternoon! I hope you all had a great weekend! Loupy, it's so good to see you back online! I'm beginning to think someone relocated me to Seattle in my sleep...we're on day 6 or 7 of gloomy skies and rain. Even with my nocturnal tendencies (I am a kitty, after all) I'm ready for some sunshine!

Take it slow and easy, Annette! Feeling stronger is good, being able to do a little more is good, but you will tire SO easily. Please listen to your body and take lots of naps! And pain pills! :)

Hey there,

Try these out Kitty :D

Annette...like Kitty said...patience. Those fires aren't too near to you, are they? BTW, that flavour I just got? Yum!! I do love the coffee vapes. The Lemon Rosewater is growing on me. It is a calming vape like I've heard others say. Have you had any thoughts on a mango/lime type flavour?

I live in the desert southwest (outside Tucson, Arizona)...we really don't do grass lawns here...tough to maintain in the heat, irresponsible use of precious water & a pain with rye over seeding for the winter. We rock scape :)

The rock covers the dirt for dusty wind, holds in moisture, keeps back weeds & covers the horrid sticky clay mud when the monsoon storms hit in late summer.

This is not my place...just quickly searched for a picture on Bing to give you an idea of landscaping styles here....

We spread a beautiful brown rock mined here in southern Arizona. This is the 25 ton pile

Aaahhh, now I get it. I was picturing rocks. You know...big rocks.

That looks beautiful. Where I live there has been a gradual shift to losing the grass covered lawns and using other types of ground cover. But then the dog walkers zero in on the few that still have grass and let their dogs use them. My front yard has been taken over by strawberry on top of ivy. Makes it hard to get at the weeds though, lol.

Good Morning All!

The sun is shining, the birds are singing and all is turning bright green!
I hope everyone has a wonderful day. :)
