Weren't we worried about the corn crop failing last year because of a serious drought?
We're going to try and take a few days away but now there is a severe storm warning in effect....again! Not sure whether to head out or hold back. Guess I'll just pack galoshes and some water wings...

LouP you are correct....the corn crop last year looked terrible in many areas. Some areas in Iowa couldn't plant due to the floods but it sounds like the Midwest in general is doing pretty well this year. This day isn't going quickly enough
Thought I'd drop by to say hello since I missing saying good morning! It's been one of those months where it seems my To Do list grows faster than I can keep up with it, LOL! How is that possible?! I joined a gym across the street from work and I've been going as often as I can. Working out really helps and I always feel refreshed when I come back. Hope everyone has a good evening!

LOL, Kitty, I wish for 30 hour days! Taking a break to go to the gym keeps me going through the long days though. I'm finding myself becoming quit addicted to it! There's a machine that helps you do assisted dips and chin ups that's become my current favorite! I definitely lost a little, um, muscle tone while I was recovering from surgery so I need all the help I can get!

LOL I would need a LOT of assistance to do just one chin up! Dips? You mean like French onion dip? For potato chips?
Late breaking news...I just scored several ears of freshly picked corn, and four lovely fresh tomatoes. The 'maters need a little more time to ripen, but in a day or two? 'Mater sammich city for kitty!

Saturday was busy busy busy getting long-neglected errands done; yesterday was my visit with sweet little Kathryn...and she knows my name! Was trying to teach her "Auntie" but....I walked out of the room and she came looking for me, saying my name (without the first consonant of course). She is just THE Best.
Rain off and on all weekend. I should be glad that it's coming to and end but I know that means it is going to be hot and humid all the rest of week...ugh. Oh well...October is just around the corner right?
And oh yeah...MONDAYS, YUCK!

hello all!! i hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable weekend ... and that the upcoming week proves to be a good one (it is HOT HOT HOT here!!!)! i just received my " large" 4 july order and i literally could not get to the mail fast enough!! so many new flavours to try (and lots of favourites too!!) - just trying out the vanilla latte and i must say i am in love!! i plan on doing a bunch of reviews as i try all of these (and as time, energy, and my health allows) which i am really excited about also!! i just also wanted to ask here (i just sent an e-mail to the "customer service" address at vv) about an issue with my order - everything seems to be correct except for the fact that i am missing the 1-oz 12mg bottle of organic naked vanilla i had ordered (it was also never "checked off" on the printout receipt) and i know that the order i placed was pretty huge and you guys were likely totally swamped with the holiday and sale so i was just wondering if this item was shipped separately or backordered or just happened to be left out with everything going on. i love love LOVE all your vanilla flavours and i was and am super psyched to try the naked vanilla - i just wanted to address the issue as soon as i could so it didn't get "lost" or forgotten on my end!! thank you so much for your time and consideration in this matter and i thank you again for your amazing flavours and quality of liquids!! i see more orders in my near future!!
