Ok, whats a bud, now? I keep hearing people talking about those, and not quite sure what they are. I just tried my first Resurrector! Did a trade for juices and we swapped 1 carto each to try. I wasn't that impressed with it on my VV box, but on the ego its outstanding. Really gives nice throat hit, even with the all VG juices I use. BTW, larkfour, if you let it sit for a bit, and make sure its full and its still bad, most vendors are pretty cool about dead ones. I'd just let them know, and maybe they'll toss in another on your next order. Hope you've managed to stop choking by now... nothing worse than that fried tire taste.

And thanks, guys! I'm a little nervous about giving em just cause its a first pv for each. I'm doing one of my egos now, with a Klimt print and some powdered metallic pigments. Looks pretty snazzy so far.

I ordered my Ego on Saturday and it arrived TODAY!!! But they sent me the Ego-T instead, and I'm planning on using clearomizers ... we'll see how I like the T, or if he'll send me a cone or if I'll need to order one.

Orachel the Bud is what everyone calls the Bud "Sapphire". Atomizer on the bottom of a clear tube. Fill from the top and have to use the black flat tip that comes with it. Seems a cooler vape and stiffer draw than my LR Boges.
I had filled my second bud 3/4 full and I was silly enough to try it again after letting it stand....BIG mistake....more tire burning gagging and choking. First one still working just fine.

Thanks, btw! I'm rather nervous to give them, since it'll be a first pv for each. But I figure if they don't like the decor, they can just crack the sealer and yank it off, because its just varnish over a removable vinyl skin. Crossing fingers!

I was just over at Annette's and saw all those wonderful Holiday flavors. It's going to be hard to decide which one to order for the holidays they all look so yum!

The burning tire Bud Sapphire came from Gotvapes. I ordered two boxes from them (only received one and notified them, they are sending the missing box). Also ordered two boxes from Annette - and she gives a choice of VG or PG Buds. Just cracked open VG Buds from Annette and filled with new sample of Tangerine Dreamsicle. Ok - here goes: Tangerine Dream or burning tire? I'm kinda scared. Mmmmmmm....Tangerine....wipes brow in relief

Hi Larkfour, glad to hear the burning tire Bud wasn't from me! I've never run into that problem with them, but it sounds like the wick is burning. As with all cartomizers, once the wick gets really singed, it will tend to taste burnt permanently, so I'd suggest you toss that one. It may be a bad carto, but to help prevent this problem, I always give them plenty of time to soak up the e-liquid after filling them before I start using them. Some cartos are even best left over night, but I've been leaving the Bud's for about 20 minutes to half an hour and haven't had a problem with them. This gives them time to soak the e-liquid all the way through the wick so it's nice and wet before you start vaping. The only other possibility is if the Bud you got was made for PG and you are using VG in it. That's why I offer the choice. If you use VG in a PG Bud, it will be too thick to move through the wick fast enough to keep it moist while you vape and the wick will tend to singe. If you use PG in a VG Bud, it will be too thin and will tend to leak into the mouthpiece or out the bottom. Hope this helps!

Thought I'd try both yours and GotVapes, I had no clue if they were the same or not.

The 'burning tire' taste is the atomizer burning dry. After you fill your Sapphire give it a few pulls so that air bubbles come up from the wick into the tank. This wets the wick that sits on the atomizer so you won't take dry puffs.

Now you guys have me curious about these bud sapphires. I was a tried and true boge girl, then the resurrectors thrilled me, so I'm using both of those now. Will have to add a bud to my arsenal and see how it goes. Thanks for suggestion! And thanks all of you for making me feel better about egos. It just feels so weird to decide the look of something someone else has to carry around all the time. lol

I ordered a couple of packages of the sapphires with my last order. I'm trying one but the jury it still out. I think it really mutes the flavor of the juice compared to a cartomizer. But....I just haven't felt well since Saturday and really nothing tastes good so I will revisit in a couple of days. Hopefully I just have some stupid bug and will wake up feeling better tomorrow. I've gone back to my old KR808 and menthol carts until this passes.

orachel those egos you did are gorgeous! Annette I hope you saw the order I know my hubby placed for me for Christmas. He had to come out and ask reg. flavor or extra! LOL! Hopefully he put some extras in the order since I left him hints of other things I would like besides the 3 1 oz. bottles of my favorites of yours! You are such a wonderful person to deal with! Oh, and Miss Annette.. was wondering if you could maybe remind us right before last day to get orders shipped before your 2 week holiday break? I can't afford to do the stocking up i need to right now after crazy black friday es'travaganza, but want to make 100% sure I don't forget before you take break.
