well mostly you know it's kinda like families gathering and visits etc elders gives lil' ones money as a gift for Eid, all boys and gurls wear new clothes ^^

for the food mostly it's different from a home to another , but in my case mah make some bashmel ( white sauce ) macaroni with some BBQ many cases grilled rips , kebab , kofta x , shish-taouk etc
but the most common and shared along with all families is the egyptian desert " Kahk " !

some other cookies called ghorayeba in egyptian, which made with butter alot of it with flour and some other things that i can't remember

lol the eating part was for what kitty asked but the real fun is tomorrow i'll be going to a safari trip -.- camping + horses and after 2 days will be on beach the next day will go to the red sea to dive + do some fishing

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Woke up to 49 degrees here in Minnesota. Had to put some socks on, the floors were cold!

Not socks!! Noooooo! It's too soon, no matter what Kitty says!

Has the water started to cool off where you are? I still haven't got up to the lake so I'm hoping for a little more time with summer...hope, hope...couldn't find an emoticon for that

Oooooh, I'm so jealous! I can't wait to wear socks! And long sleeves! And to need a blankie on my bed!

I've been to the grocery store already this morning. I picked up a couple of new little toys for kitty jr and he is having a blast. His little belly crisis seems to have passed so it must have been a ruptured little fluid collection. One of his favorite games now is hide and peek. He hides around corners, under an afghan or whatever, and peeks out to see if can see him. Which I can, duh. He's so much fun to watch, I hate leaving him during the week!

Lou! This kitty has gotten so big, I can hardly stand it! He's still adorable and turning out to be quite the little buddy but I do miss those tiny little kitten days. EVEN THOUGH HE IS THE REASON THAT I AM POSTING HERE AT 4:42 on a Sunday morning after a 3:30 "feet attack" ! I'm sitting here sippin my first cuppa and where is kitty jr? Behind my head, fast asleep of course.

Cold? Here? Bah. It doesn't really get "cold" here until January and it stays cold for about 6 hours. We've had many a Christmas where we have the ceiling fan going, instead of chestnuts roasting on an open fire.

Kitty..no sympathy from me re your 3:30am attack! Old Man the Cat has decided he would like a new menu selection every two hours or so lately. He HOWLS!! He's a burmese something or other so has a but of that siamese type drawl...He's also deaf now so I believe that makes him use his voice more but ..oooooohhhh...loud..

I'm spending my day trying to get up the courage to dump Liquid Lightening down my tub drain. Everything is backing up everywhere!! Murphy's Law is firmly in control around here! What next? No, don't even think about it!

The problem is I just recently sent a long letter to the landlord telling them to back off and stop threatening/bullying etc..
I also just faced down my downstairs neighbour after her latest attack so.... payback?..
In June the basement and yard were torn up and pipes etc fixed..we had no plumbing for two weeks....
Landlord was not concerned with tenants well-being then...I can only imagine now!
Deep Sigh.........
To pour or not to pour....maybe tis better to pour a beer instead!

I think ive vaped too much of the Plum Crazy in such a small period of time...Im starting to not be able to taste it very well anymore.
So with that, im going to my local retailer today to buy another VV bottle... Just dont know which one.

Any suggestions? (im not really into the coffee flavors - my favorites are the plum and original sin)
