Good Morning and Chit Chat Thread

Friday evening.....and my boy has arrived yet again. Seems he`s not too fond of school......

So my order of cartos is sitting in customs. Who knows why. It`s just a few cartos. Mini cartos. Not medical devices....not hazardous...no nic.....sigh....

And Swer..you live in Texas. Tex-mex food..chilis.. the cinnamon isn`t hot. Actually it`s a lot sweeter than I thought it would be. The red hot candies are too hot for me but this is nice!

Loup, my sister is counting down the days until her 16 year old goes to college in two years. LOL I think I gave her a jolt when I said, ha, you think you're all done then? He'll be back every weekend to do his laundry. I know that and I'm not even a mom. But I know you love having your boy home. (((hugs)))

Not even laundry is easy right now. Nasty landlord has still not fixed the dryer.

OK. I`m good now. I opened my Vanilla Latte and took a good whiff. That`ll cheer anyone up!

A nice box fan can be a good sub when your dryer is out of comission. Granted, your house might resemble an underground chinese sweatshop, but clothes dry in under an hour with a fraction of electricity! During my college days this was my life.

Actually, that`s kind of how my hallway looks after a load, with a fan at either end. Works better with summer clothes though.

Yeah, I forget. Summer clothes are mainly the only clothes I am washing. Here in South texas winter clothes are confined to what we see people wearing on tv and in magazines. I haven't owned a jacket in 9 years. I lost mine and havent had a reason to buy another one since! The most I have is a hoodie that I throw over my t-shirt when it gets cold. We have had around 7 months of sun this year, only this past 2 weeks has it dissapeared and yielded to cooler days. But even now you can get away with shorts and tshirts and not feel cold at all.

Good Saturday Evening All...

I went on a bike hike today and wound up at the animal shelter. There was one little guy there who tried really hard to convince me to take him home. This is the closest likeness pic I could find..

He has massive paws which caused me to worry somewhat...I think there is Rotty in him. But sooooo cute and he needs me....

I tore myself away and will think long and hard about early morning walks in -30 degree weather... but he`s soo cute..

But he`s gonna get biiggg! That`s not a pic of him...just the closest I could find. He`s brown...I think some chocolate lab..and humongous paws!!! The expression on the face is close. It says..you will do everything I want you to....and then some...Your pup would probably be able to ride on his nose when he`s grown.
