Good morning! Yep, it's MONDAYS - YUCK! day. 
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, spending time with your dads, or remembering fondly fathers who have passed on. Very grateful to still have my dad!

Good Morning All,
Another rainy day here...again! I'm going to cut most of my hair off if this keeps up much longer.
jj....I love the cat who is ever so gently pawing her face to wake her up...Every cat I've ever had has done that.
I've been planting lots of herbs in pots and containers for the front porch. Two separate pots just for mint. Last summer I was addicted to watermelon, feta, lime and mint salad and this way, I know I'll have a fresh supply whenever I want. Anyone know of a good flower that would grow happily alongside the herbs?

Kitty...if you've never tried that combo in a salad...it is a MUST try. Soo good. I remember the mint from a previous garden which is why I've put it in pots.

Good morning...been busy working and this morning at 1:17 am my granddaughter joined the world...Penelope and mom are doing great..grandma just tired from a short night. Can't wait until after work to go get some more snuggles
I'm so tired but just got home from a visit to the hospital and a nice dinner out with hubby. Really couldn't be any happier
Thanks JJ had a chance to get some more snuggles last night. Grandpa and I are going to try and stay away until Friday night, don't want to drive the kids too crazy and they need to get settled in at home. The nice thing is they realize we are only a phone call away if needed. It may take me a couple of days to catch up on my sleep as well.
I'm losing track of time here, I thought it was still Wednesday there for a minute. 
Congrats, IowaGal...and now we have another IowaGal to love named Penelope! I love her name, and I bet you are over the moon...nothing in the world like snuggling a newborn!
