Hey everybody. So, I came in here a week ago expressing a lot of frustration and desperation with my failed attempts at switching to vaping. I want to thank everyone for the advice. I took all of it into consideration as I did my research.

In short, my KGo came today, and from first puff, wow. That's an ecig. I have no idea what it is that I was using before (Thanks Dark City Vapor for taking good care of my order).

So, I'm sort of on to the next stage. I really think I'm gonna love my KGo and it's going to be perfect for use at home. Thing is, this thing is unwieldy, so I'm thinking of getting a couple of standard 510 batteries for when I'm on the go. Either that, or adapters to turn my SafeCig (4081) into a 510. Haven't really decided yet. SafeCig doesn't list their battery specs, so it's hard to know if they will be adequate for this use.

I also want to get enough "consumable" stuff to last several weeks so I won't have to buy any more analogs. How much "stuff" do you moderate to heavy vapers go through? As in, will a pack of 5 refillable cartos last a month? Two packs of five? How much liquid? All I got right now is a 7ml freebie with my kit and 5 cartos. I'm thinking of maybe getting the Halo variety pack. So many choices. I realize one size doesn't fit all, here, so I'm looking for ballpark figures just to know how much stuff to get to get me started and keep me happy for a few weeks.

Thanks again to everyone for the help. I feel much better about things.

Re Safecig Try a 4081 to 510 adapter from Goodprohets (or Madvapes if Goodprophets doesn't have one - GP is cheaper). Then use standard resistance 510 cartos (or attys) on the Safecig (and I recommend Boge). So I don't really see the point of adapting it if you plan to use LR cartos or attys on your big batteries since those are meant for batteries 450mah+ and can damage slim ecigs.

Cartos - I am a only moderate vaper and I use 4 month (2 at a time - one Boge 510 and one KR808D-1). I use near-perfect juices for good wicking and keeping the stuffing unclogged (thin and clear) and I am very good at keeping them damp. I also use standard resistance so there is less chance of singeing. So I think YOU will need 2 packs minimum, maybe 3 if you have never used them before.

Juice - you have to measure YOU on your chosen device and cartos/atomizers. Different heats and different cartos/attys and methods use different amounts of liquid per drag. Different people take different sizes of drags. I only use 2ml or so per day but you may use over 5ml. try to vape from one 5ml bottle for a couple of days and see how much it drops each day.

Thanks, dormouse. That's really helpful stuff.

I see what you mean regarding batteries and resistance. It may be worth attempting it anyway, since adapters are cheap and if I blow out my 4081, it's not a huge loss as it isn't my primary product anymore. Maybe I'll buy a pack of low resistance and a pack of standard resistance per month.

As usual, you guys rock. This gives me some idea of what I'm gonna need to spend each month. Doing the math, it's probably going to be roughly the same that I spend on analogs (They're still pretty cheap in Georgia, off brands are 4 bucks a pack) which is fine with me, just more incentive to cut the analogs out altogether.

...it all depends...there are 3vapers in my house...I go thru 5ml/day, they go thru another 3...at the rate I vape, I get 3-4days on a carto...I actually go thru 3-5cartos/wk using 3-4flavors...my wife and step-daughter go thru another 3...so, we buy 2-3(15pk)bundles from Crystal Clear Vaping every month and go thru 50+ml of juice/wk...we are spending around 35bux/wk vaping...a whole lot better than the 120-150bux/wk we were spending on funkarettes.......
