Good news, the eGo is everything it's cracked up to be

I'm very new to vaping and did a lot of research before I bought my first unit. I decided on the Joye eGo and I'm very happy with it. I got a starter kit with two complete units. I've already bought some good dual coil cartomizers which work very well and give fantastic hits. I only use these on one of my units so that I can monitor and learn how dual coil carts will affect my battery life. The other remains with the factory atomizer and cartridge set up which works well enough with a freshly topped off cartridge. I don't over use the e-cig and try to keep it to about the normal times I would have usually lit an analog. I am getting almost two days out of a single charge and the cartomizers I bought hold almost enough juice to make it that long too. I have yet to run a battery all the way down or dry a cart out. I do want to say (without experience with other models) that the eGo seems to be a very good unit! I'm not perfect on the analogs yet but I've cut back to almost none and I already feel better after less than two weeks of vaping. I'm very happy with my decision to start and have enjoyed all the fine help I've received on this website. There are a lot of fine people here! Thank you all so much! Analogs be gone!:vapor:

Congratulations, that first week can be very rough without analogs. I wish you continued success.

I don't over use the e-cig and try to keep it to about the normal times I would have usually lit an analog.

I don't believe you can overuse a pv if you are trying to be analog free. If you want an analog and the pv is there, its the perfect time to grab that pv and overuse it, trust me you will thank me later. I can tell you that I tended to vape more when it was a novelty and needed it to quit analogs, but eventually I settled into a pattern I was comfortable with.

Something I might add, the cartomizers I'm using are fairly LR at 2.5ohm. They are marked 1.25ohm but I assume that is per coil because that is insanely low for two. I believe I bought them as 2.5ohm models but don't remember already! Ha! I only have to hold the button for 2 or 3 seconds for a good hot hit. Vapor production isn't super high with a hit like this but I'm not trying to "smoke" the place up. (Vape the place up is what I mean of course!) I will eventually get some cartomizers of higher resistance to compare them. Like I said, I have almost no experience so everything I try I'm learning while I'm at it and so far, so good! Analogs be gone!

Been 3 months analog free and I couldn't be happier. I've noticed that my smoking habits have changed a lot.

When I smoked tobacco I would smoke one and in 30 minutes I was lighting up again. So I was usually going through at least a pack and a half a day. If I was busy on my computer or in a conversation I wasted (burned up) cigs.

With the E cig, I can just put it down and pick it up when I feel like it. I always have an extra battery ready in case. I might take 3 or 4 puffs and leave it alone for awhile. I've noticed that a cartomizer which is the equivalent of a pack of cigs usually lasts me at least 2 and sometimes 3 days.

The new one I just bought (E9) lasts less cause it holds less juice but still it works out the same. After 40 years of smoking I don't think i'll ever go back to analogs.

My lungs feel better, my heart rate is lower, blood pressure is normal and I don't smell anymore. AND I like the fruity flavors of E's better than a tobacco taste. I wish I'd found out about E cigs years ago.

Congrats!! I agree with bass.. Let your body tell when enough is enough.. If you have a doubt or question ask. This forum has a bunch of success stories. I fully agree that this forum has helped a 2 1 /2 a PAD smoker get off analogs( 10 months analog Free)..If it wasn't for ECF and feed back I received from posters I would have relapsed to analogs
