Listing ingredients isn't the same as giving out the formula. I think most DIY'er use PV and/or VG, nicotine, & flavor. Maybe water if the PG/VG is too thick. Even the USDA & FDA do not make food & drug manufacturers disclose amounts and artifical and natural flavors are a popular ingredient in everything. So are spices for that matter. Check the lables on some of the food & drinks. :)

Steve actually already mentioned that with the move to US-based manufacturing, they're going to start informing us more about exactly what is in the liquids... which I think is fantastic.

In the past, it has sounded like the Chinese plant isn't always totally forthcoming as far as exact ingredients - Leaford mentioned "trade secrets". The nic, PG and VG is the easy part to disclose - thats a no-brainer. The tricky part, from what I understand, is actually the flavoring, which makes up a very small part of the mix, but I would still love to know more about exactly what ingredients are being used for each flavor... and from what Steve said, it sounds like they're moving in that direction by working with a dedicated US-based manufacturer who won't attempt to keep any secrets from V4L. ...or at least that's the impression I've got

I think that listing ingredients is going to be a minimum requirement (rightly so) should the FDA ever really sit down and negotiate a way out of this gray area in which we currently find ourselves. Can't imagine the FDA greenlighting E-cigs at all....but if a miracle happens, they will at least insist upon listing ingredients....so vendors and manufacturers might as well start doing it voluntarily now. Probably black box labels too...since the FDA really, really likes those.
