I'm trying to streamline everything as much as possible since that will be what ultimately keeps me from going back to cigarettes. Been trying to find a good site where I can order both good cartomizers and good e-liquid? I have been having trouble finding a site that's good for both.

I like Smokeless Image's cartomizers, but their liquids are junk. And I'm not all that familiar with other suppliers. I just want a place that's decently priced with quick delivery. I don't necessarily need the finest juices in all the land, just good ones. Suggestions?

Also: 808 cartos are the same as 901 cartos are the same as G6 cartos, right? I have been getting confused on this point, on what will actually work on my new Volt.

This is my major frustration with e-cigs versus analog cigs. All the variation and inconsistency and customization leads to a whole lot of disorganization. I want to quit smoking cigarettes and switch to e-cigs full-time but finding my way through the hundreds of websites, the thousands of juices, the myriad of form factors and all the jargon...it's a headache. So if anyone can help me really simplify things as much as possible, give me a good recommendation of a website and a juice to go with, so I can make this a simple thing so I can make the ordering process easy, I'd appreciate it.

In terms of juices, I need a good menthol. That's what I smoke and that's what would help me quit. And then a strong tobacco flavor. And then a vanilla or cinnamon and a peach or pineapple. That set of four juices is pretty much all I'd need. Please help me simplify this whole process. I feel like I'm real close to giving up analogs for good but then I get overwhelmed by all this stuff and go out and buy a pack because it's so much simpler.

I believe the SI Cartomizers are Kanger Horizontal Coils (KR808-D Thread). A quick google search turns up a number of vendors. Personally, I like the SI juices, but then again I'm not much for menthol. You can also look at the CE3 clearomizers from SI, I have some on order should be here today. Seems like with the clearomizers you can use a wider range of PG/VG ratio juices. 2 reasonably priced juice vendors that I've heard good things about are myfreedomsmokes and mtbakervapor. My next juice order will be from Mt. Baker. I like simplicity also, and I figure if I can keep it down to 2 vendors, one for hardware and one for juice, I'm doing ok. Hope this helps.

I had smoked Marlboro Menthols. Smokeless Image's Ice Menthol was a pretty good menthol flavor in my opinion and I credit it for getting off of the cigs. I've tried several menthols from a few different vendors hoping to find one I like more, and none are better than the Volt Ice Menthol.

I also agree that the Volt blank cartos are Kanger horizontal coil carts.

yeah it can be frustrating at first...i sorta feel your pain but it's worth it to figure these things out...devote a little bit of time to it and the rest of it will fit together like the pieces of a puzzle for you in a while

as for juice, i recommend backwoods brew quite a bit, he does not sell 808s so youll have to make a separate order ..once you've made a complete switch you can plan your orders ahead of time...buy larger quantities etc to cut down on the shipping

My major issue with SI's juices is that they're all PG, which makes my throat feel like there's this big lump in it. If it weren't for that, they'd be fine. I was also looking at Halocigs, as they come pretty highly recommended in terms of juice quality and they carry 808 cartos, but their flavors are extremely limited.

I really want to condense my shopping to a single site to save money, too. I don't make that much money (I work for AmeriCorps) and the shipping costs can really stack up. I can't really afford to buy things in bulk, like getting twenty cartos at once or a bunch of juices at once. I mostly get small orders very often, so I wanna keep things together as much as possible to save on shipping, to make sure things arrive together (since I usually don't order till I'm about out of supplies), etc.

SI cartos are not the same as Kanger. I used to think that, so I bought Kangers from Health Cabin because they were so cheap. I did learn my lesson. The Kangers don't always fire on my Volts unless I fiddle with the battery post, the filling is not as dense, and they don't last as long. I agree that there are better juices, but SI definitely has the best 808 cartos that I have found.

Bloog, Halo and S.I. are about the best places for 808 cartos.

If, and only if you have a manual battery, then you could try out the Smoktech 808's at ECBlend. They're vertical coil instead of horizontal like the Volt, but the vape is decent and they're sold in singles so you could buy exactly what you need. Plus, ECBlend juices are pretty cheap and you can customize every aspect of it to get what you like.

If you have an auto, then I don't recommend the Smoktech's because you'd need an 808-901 adapter to make them work on the "sealed" autos. Or at least I did with the one I tried.

To answer an earlier question, 808 and 901 share the same thread pattern, but they use a different means of air flow to activate the automatic switch. On a manual this isn't a problem, but 901 atomizers will not fire on a "sealed" auto without modding the atomizer itself or buying an 808-901 adapter and reversing the center post.

On the Kanger = Volt topic, the biggest reason people make that assumption is because Kanger came out with the first horizontal coil.

But remember the Bloog Max Fusion was the first to innovate beyond the Kanger by changing the composition of the filler and wick. So it's probably more accurate to say the Volts are either a copy or a new innovation over the Bloog.

Regardless, they're still following in Kanger's foot steps.

My only experience thus far is with vapor4life.com. That's where i got my 808 (the Viper King) and all my cartos thus far.

Onuris, I understand your frustration. I am brand new to vaping myself, and it is def. pretty confusing. Finally, I saw a couple recs for V4L's Viper King for the overwhelmed brand-newbie, and decided to stop driving my myself nuts and go for it.
Thus far, I'm very pleased with it. It's just 2 pieces, the battery and carto. And if you use the pre-filled cartos, it is literally as easy and simple as lighting an analog.

Flavor recs: V4L also has juices, but I've only used the pre-filled cartos so far. They have 2 brands, "Cool Carts" and WOW. I'm not experienced enough to really understand the difference, so I just picked 1 (Cool Carts) and that's what I've been going with. Vanilla is my favorite of any flavors I've tried so far. If you can't decide on 1 tobacco, try the sampler pack. Same for menthol.

So that's my recommendation. Just stop wavering and do it. If you hate it, feel free to blame me! ;)
Seriously though, I didn't think I'd ever quit. I'm 3 whole days smoke-free (might not sound like much, but for me, it's huge!) and I don't even want a cigarette.

JUST DO IT! :p

Many companies like Smokeless Image contract with major brand manufacturer's in China to make their products for them. I can't confirm it, but I strongly suspect Smokeless Image contracts with Kanger to make their cartomizers and X2-T3 clearomizers to their own specifications. The same goes for their Volt Spinner, which is essentially a re-branded Vision Spinner with Volt branded on it and given 808 threads.

I strongly suspect that the popular Ikenvape cartomizers are made by Boge to Ikenvape's specifications. Even when PBusardo was reviewing the Ikenvape Fusion carts he was intrigued that they were so similar to his beloved Boges, that he dissected both to study their innards.

This is probably very common.

Oh, definitely. I agree 100%. Though the S.I. forum rep has claimed they went with someone other than Kanger to provide their re-branded T3's. Though of course we don't know who that is. ;)

A little birdy told me that the S.I. forum rep is actually much more than that in title...but I'm not telling who told me that or who Imagine really is. The birdy who shared this information would know. :D
