"VAPERS ARE NOT ADDICTED
Most nicotine users do not want to quit nicotine just as most caffeine users don´t want to quit caffeine. Both substances are not addictive. Nicotine alone, i.e. without MAOIs (monoaminooxidase inhibitors) is not addictive. Prof. Etters studied dependence levels in users of e-cigarettes, and compared them with dependence levels in users of nicotine gums and
tobacco cigarettes.
Results:
Some e-cigarette users were dependent on nicotine-containing e-cigarettes, but these products were less addictive than
tobacco cigarettes. E-cigarettes may be as or less addictive than nicotine gums, which themselves are not very addictive.

Cigarettes are addictive for approx. 30% of all smokers (the hard core). Nicotine plus MAOIs makes the difference."
