Hey yall. As the title says, I'm looking for a tank that would be good for someone who chain vapes. I take a hit off my vamo with a protank on it very frequently. I got through 1-2 protank-fulls a day. Sometimes I notice dry hits like I'm not letting it wick enough. I dont want to burn heads out faster than I need to so I'm wondering if there's a better tank out there that can handle the frequency of my hits.

Also. I've had people recommend dripping to me. I have no idea how to do this or with what kind of delivery system. But I'm still super interested in a better tank so I can just fill something and vape all day.

You could just have 2 vamos loaded and switch between the two. That's what I do, if I use just one all the time it heats up a bit (no wicking issues though).

You know I do have 2 Vamos... But i only have 2 batteries hehe. I can see me doin that if i buy more batteries. I think im gonna do that

A properly set up carto tank will not disappoint you.

Have to agree with this.

Also with the protank after a few hits take a primer puff. Just a hit without activating the battery, this will help keep the wicks wet and the extra air flow will help cool it down a little. You could also try rewicking with cotton as it wicks faster in my experience, that helped my dry hit problems on t3's and evods wich are pretty much the same as a protank.

what do you mean by properly set up. I just ordered a smoktech UDCT 6ml tank

A tank that you just want to snap your fingers and point at while looking into the camera.:p

I just mean a tank that is working just right. Ie: wicking juice into the carto as fast as it needs too but not flooding, not leaking all over the place, and all around just providing a very satisfying vape. Carto tanks can be a little tricky to get the hang of and to get to where you can consistently get them set up just right. A lot of people never master this and give on carto tanks.

I've used them a but it was when i was a noob vaper. Im vaping 70/30 juice so do you think i should widen the holes a bit? the description says they can handle 50/50 though

If they are the tiny "laser punched" holes, you will need to widen them out regardless in my opinion. If I am using a 70/30, I go with two small but still larger than the laser punched micro holes. Those holes are entirely too small in most situations. You will likely either run dry or have to be constantly sucking juice up into your carto or dripping into your carto to keep it wet. If I am using 50/50 I like two slightly larger holes.

If you don't have a carto punch, those tiny holes actually make great pilot holes. They will widen if you take a nail/hammer and very lightly tap the nail into the hole. I do still suggest starting with smaller holes and making them wider to find what works for your vape pace and the viscosity of your juice. You can always make them bigger, but you can never go back.

Thanks for the advice. However I'm not sure how small the laser punched holes are or if my tanks carto's will have them or not. So I'll drop a link on what I ordered. It comes with 5 of the cartos shown in the picture.
