Turns out, I may be allergic to PG juice. I used a 60/40 mix of PG/VG...and the insides of my lips got swollen/blistered. I started using 100% VG from AVE and the problem went away, so I'm assuming it was the PG that did it. I was intoxicated the night before the swelling/blisters appeared, so maybe I burned my lips not being able to feel them as I normally would? Does this happen? Or is it more likely that I'm allergic?

Anyway, thanks for the info. You guys are the greatest!

I have heard that some people are allergic to PG, so you very well might be.

A lot of vendors let you select the amount of PG/VG you want. I've ordered from RawrVapor and ECblend, and that was the case.

I'm not allergic to PG, but I prefer a lot of VG. VG produces more vapor but it's also quite thick... so it doesn't play well with cartomizers sometimes.

Check out Alien Visions.

They have a small window for ordering, from 8am pst until they reach capacity which is 300 orders daily.

They do this for a reason. All orders ship the next day and you dont end up waiting 2-3 weeks like you can with other vendors.

The owner has a pg allergy so most liquids are either 100 percent vg or 10/90 pg/vg.

Two of my all day vapes come from there: Hype (tastes like peach schnapps or peach rings candy) and Christys Cappucino (best coffee flavor Ive ever tried)

Bobas Bounty and Gorilla juice are considered must tries in the world of e-juice as well.

For tobaccos, I believe at least some Johnson Creek are 0PG.
Yep. You're right Mark.

Johnson Creek has a Red Oak line that is pg-free & several tobacco flavors. I use Tennessee Cured & Domestic.

If you order 3 bottles, they automatically take a 10% discount at checkout. Good stuff.

velvet cloud vapor, heathers heavenly vapes are two of my favorite VG vendors..
Since you are not sure if you burn your lips or not, i would test to see if you really are allergic to PG, swollen/burned lips is not an allergic reaction i've read about before or at least not one that i can remmber.. i just get itchy, bumps and swollen shut throat feeling from PG but, everyone is different..

I am also allergic to pg so use 100% VG. I use the vapor room a lot and everyone have sent there has been pleased. Orb vapor gets good reviews but they're moving locations so you'll have to wait awhile on the order. I placed an order last Monday that hasn't shipped. When it does I'll be posting my thoughts in theirs.

heathers heavenly vapes
I echo this! They're great!

Heather's Heavenly Vapes let's you choose the PG/VG ratio, with a choice of 100% VG. I believe some juices will have a warning if some of the juices may have some tiny levels of PG in them, because of the flavors in the bottle etc. This should normally not be a worry, unless you're very allergic, but it never hurts to be on the safe side. In any case, HHV make some really good flavors. I don't smoke baccy flavors, so I can't recommend any of those, but their fruity vapes are absolutely marvelous.

Another good one is D&D Vapor. They make some special and out-of-the-ordinary flavors that are also all available in 100% VG. Really thick stuff. Best of all: they make among the cheapest juices you can find, without lacking any quality. Absolutely worth a looksie!

Personally I can get somewhat "whiny" in my chest from some juices. Peach from Vapor Station comes to mind. I love the juice, but sometimes my breath can get a little whiny, so I'm guessing there's something in the juice that might cause some inflammation or whatever that affects my breath, especially when I'm vaping while lying in bed. However, this isn't necessarily because of PG for me. It could just as well be the flavoring and some floral ingredients that affect me, since I have all kinds of allergies like that, 'cause other juices with PG haven't really bothered me. It's just that one that does this. So I guess this is something else to keep in mind for those of you with tons of allergies, like myself :)

Thanks a lot guys! You've been a huge help! I've already decided to get a big bottle of Boba's Bounty and Bee's Knees from AV because I loved the samples I bought from them! I'm going to hit up all of the posted sites for samples too of things I might be interested in. I'm also going to try a PG juice again to make sure I didn't just burn myself because of stupidity lol. I do like the 100% VG juices though a lot and they work well for my needs, so even if it turns out to be an allergic reaction, at least I'll still be happy with vaping!

Another Mt Bakers fan here. You can choose to go with 80% VG 20% distilled water and its a great vape. If the flavor doesn't come through to your liking, just throw in a flavor shot or two for 25cents a piece. Great prices, great shipping, great customer service, and if you spend more than 15bucks on an order, hell throw you a free 15ML sample. Be sure to let them know you'd like your sample with 0PG.

I agree! I love the red oak Tennessee cured which is 100% VG juice. I believe you can also order whatever ratio you want through heathers heavenly vapes which also gets high ratings, but I haven't tried yet.

Johnson's Creek sends glass bottles with drippers & empty small plastic bottles for on-the-go. Nice touch. Wish more used glass, not a fan of plastic bottles.
