Goodbye everybody

I just wanted to let my new family here know that I will not be joining in on the fun that we've all been having here on the forums anymore.

I originally found these forums for a source of information regarding ecigs, and as a result, have found all you WONDERFUL people that have help so many, like me, with support on all kinds of subjects.

Unfortunately, it has come to my attention that the rules state the following:

3. The Forum Officials reserve the right to remove, edit or suspend any user account at their discretion. There is no right of appeal.

I just received a phone call from a friend of mine. He informed he that he has been banned from ECF for trying to relieve tension in a thread by offering cookies, and no longer can access the wealth of information contained herein. I do not want to lose access to this information, so I have decided that it's my best interest to stop posting replies. These replies might be constituted as something they are not, and I would get banned without right of appeal.

I will continue to read and learn and laugh with you all, just silent and invisible unless I personally have a question.

Thank you all for being such a wonderful family. I hope that maybe one day I'll feel like I don't have to look over my shoulder at everything I reply to.

Unfortunitly on some level, I agree with OP. I have had issues with posting a JOKE and getting nailed with an infraction.

I didn't post for over a week or more.

Too many forum nazis around.

The fact that your friend was removed for "trying to relieve tension in a thread by offering cookies" is absolutely slow.

You're friend wasn't banned for his comment, he was banned for complaining, more than once, about having his comment deleted.
I have a feeling it wasn't the first time he was given a warning.
I made some rough remarks in the same thread, the mods edited it and PM'd me, asking me rather nicely, to please watch my language in the future.
Tempers seem to be very high this winter it seems.
