GoodSense Vapor's 306DCA with debridged attys?

After looking at this picture, I'm wondering if it's possible to use the 306DCA from GoodSense with debridged 306's. Seems like the design assumes the bridge will be there to screw the atty tightly in place, and without it, there's nothing to grab onto. Can anyone with a 306DCA confirm use with debridged attys?

Edit: Perhaps one of these would raise the internal connection high enough to permit a bridgeless 306 to be screwed in?

The top that came with the dca, supposedly for the "ma306" did not work at all on a boge 306 from AVE. Atty too small.
Luckily it works very well on the Joye lr 306 from vaporkings. I have been using the same one for a week to do taste test
And the dca has been great. I debridged/wicked it around 2 days in with no probs. the top piece actually holds onto the atty with no help from the bridge.
