Unfortunately the ECF search function isn't the greatest so I always used google to get the info I needed. A couple of months ago they dropped the option to search just forum posts. Why? I guess to make you get your info from commercial sites that pay for high placement. OK, no biggie, you could still get to the forum search by using the direct url in google. Last month they disabled that as well.

There is now a 3rd way, works great:

intext:forum taifun site:www.e-cigarette-forum.com

Copy the entire line above and paste into google, just replace Taifun with whatever you're looking for. Lose the "site:www.e-cigarette-forum.com" if you want to search all forums.

I'll start with my slight digression about how terrible Google search had become, since incorporating synonym and even antonym search. I search a lot of math stuff, where "function" and "method" are absolutely not interchangeable. Anyway...

I am a little confused. My go-to search had always had the format

site:e-cigarette-forum.com/forum query

Is your way significantly different/better?
