Got a E-cig and a problem.

Got my E-cig less than a week ago. Was very pleased with the results.
But now I don't think it is charging anymore. It's USB charger. Tried two different computers. The light is supposed to glow when charging and become dimmed when fully charged. Now the light does not glow.

What's wrong with it?

Really hard to say from the information you have supplied. Have you contacted the manufacturer?

Maybe test out the USB port with another USB device to make sure it isnt your port having an error first! ....Then contact the company you bought it from.

They haven't answered, been 3 days. What information do you need?

I use the same USB port for my PC mouse.

Is it an automatic battery (no button to push)? Could you have gotten e-liquid in the small hole in the middle of the threaded end? That can kill a battery.

And I have no idea what brand you have. If it is the same length and diameter as a cigarette then there are few that are any good and even those are weak. There are a lot of rebranders that buy the Chinese e-cigarettes, good models and bad, put their own name on them and sell them for inflated prices, often with with carts that are harder to refill and not offering blank carts. I hope you can get in touch with them.

Also keep q-tips around and clean the threads on the battery and the charger every time you go to charge one! You wont belive how much black gunk comes off them and the gunk can keep them from charging properly!

Well in a word, yes, but $10 is minor error and you didn't spend $100 on the POS crappy e-cig. (so many of us here have) You did find ECF before an expensive mistake so you're doing just fine.

I'm afraid you answered your own question correctly. If you like vaping, I would suggest you look at a better model. Getting a model with a better battery makes a lot of sense. An eGo or Riva 510 model with manual batteries (small button) would be a big upgrade and they are not too expensive, either. I would at least definitely stick with manual batteries which are sealed and will not allow liquid to get into the battery. Even a regular 510 or manual 901 would be a better option.

Pretty much a disposable PV and for that price you did fine. Now you know if you wan't to step up and get one that will last.

Much better options, a standard 510, kit, ego or riva kit, or a KR808 kit would be the cheapest noob options.

NO, to both of those, especially the Blu!!!!!!!! There are about 1000 posts on how disappointed user are. As others have stated, definitely get a manual battery device such as the 510 and a better battery is highly recommended such as the Riva/eGo.

My advice is to skip all that and move to direct ‘dripping’ on a big battery mod.

It’s the best thing going in my humble opinion.

I am still fairly new to e cigarettes and made a mistake buying something very similar to what you have but for 40 bucks instead of 10. I got an ego from awesomevapor.com and I am very happy with it. You may be able to find it cheaper, but if you need any help the guy who runs the site is full of useful info.

I did a lot of research before i bought another setup and although i havnt tried a lot of other types, I am going to stick with the ego for awhile.

Yeah, if you like vaping it's worth it to step up. If you do get a riva or ego you probably even notice better results as far a vapor production and even throat hit and taste. My first e-cig was cheap and I didn't know it at the time but I was getting a slight burnt taste...very slight but enough so that when i switched, everything tasted better.
It is sort of expensive at the start just to get set up with a reliable pv, atty's batteries, chargers, liquid...but once you do...you'll end up saving big time. And like pupmastermp3 said, start slow and work your way up! Good luck!

Joye 510 er den beste av de billigste. kr808 var den første jeg hadde, og det var faktisk den beste jeg hadde også, til jeg gikk tom for stock liquid som fulgte med cartomizerne. Problemet er ikke å få tak i en bra ecig, men å få tak i bra eliquid!

If you are a moderate smoker and can charge batteries during the day you should be happy with Joye 510 or KR808D-1 as a first ecig

The KR8's battery lasts longer (3-5 hours vs 2-3 for standard 510 batteries, less with heavy vaping). The KR8 is a dedicated 2-piece. 510 is slimmer - almost as slim as a cigarette. There are longer batteries for the 510 called 510 mega batteries - sort of makes an extra long cigarette but lasts as long as the KR8's standard battery

I use both 510 and KR8. 510 comes as a 3-piece but I prefer to use blank cartomizers with it so I can vape longer before I have to add juice.

Whichever you get you will be adding ejuices - the cart of a 3-piece hold enough juice for a few cigarettes worth of drags. A cartomizer of a 2-piece holds 2x of more. But a cartomizer might only last a week before it's not making as much vapor etc. The 510 can be used either way - you could use cartomizers or the atomizer+cart (good to have 1-2 spare atomizers since that is the part that can burn out on a 3-piece)

For either you can get a PCC (a portable charging case that can charge a battery when you are away from AC or computer power and USB charger). The 510 mega xl batteries need the mega PCC.

For heavy smokers, hard draggers, and people who need or want 6-8 hour battery life, get a Joye Ego or Riva 510 instead.
