I been vaping cheap egos for a while. About an hour ago I went in to a local vape shop and bought a k100 and IGO-W and a drip tip.
The guy there coiled it up for me but wouldn't take the time to show me how to do it on my own. Its only been an hour and it taste horrible. Like im smoking metal. If im correct its 5 drips for every 5 times I vape it? I can barely taste the flavor what im doing wrong?
Thanks ahead of time.

Congrats on your new setup, I have the exact same. If you want to learn how to build coils, simply watch a bunch of youtube videos and read some info on this site. New coils might taste like metal until theyre "broken in" but im not sure if this metal taste can happen with a cotton/silica wick. Bring it back to the shop and see what they tell you. You can put more than 5 drops at a time btw

For an IGO-w 5 drips is not much you can put IF IT IS WICKED RIGHT as much as 20 drops. Take the whole top off and make sure the wick is saturated to the point of changing color if the juice is not clear. Also and I don't know if you or they did this but someone should have cleaned out the inside of the IGO and they should have torched the wick and wire to remove any stuff like oils etc. There are a ton of videos on Youtub showing Igo-w wicking. I suggest you look at a couple. The guy I like has a thick UK accent. But he knows is stuff. Looks like he is in a wood shop. can't remember his name.

I've been vaping for almost 4 years, but really just got into RBAs. There's a certain way to hit them compared to ce2/cartos. You must have a constant pull so the juice runs through the wick efficiently. I learned that the hard way by vaping it like a cigarette(as I did with a ce2/carto). You gotta put your lungs into it with rebuildables.

It could also be because you have hotspots on your coils. Coils must wrap around the wick 100%.

I've drilled 1/16th holes in my igo-w's so that I get a faster/bigger draw. Also, make sure the holes are right next to the coils.
