So I just bought a k100 today and I love it. When using the Cartomizers that came with it it's fantastic! It looks stunning and the vape is wonderful, if not a little on the airy side. But, when I use my protank, it's almost impossible to draw through, especially when it's screwed down all the way. So I've been vaping with it on my k100 about two turns away from all the way down. Is this dangerous? And better yet, is there anything I can do so that I can screw my tank down all the way on to my k100? Would the Kanger airflow controller work?

Also, I'm open to suggestions for cheap yet effective RDAs! I was going to get a Nimbus at Lavish (one of my local shops) but I didn't have twenty dollars left over after getting my k100.

I'm currently looking at the IGO-T and the Nimbus. I'd prefer three posts if you could, but anything less than five is acceptable!

Thanks,
-Sebastian

I love my k100 as my sig suggest paired with the trident clone. having the ability to do either single or dual coil with adjustable air flow is beyond amazing. I got my trident clone from madvapes for around $20 but can be found cheaper. It came with the brass connector which makes it very good at getting the power directly to the coils.

As far as the pt issue the only real way to fix it is using either a standalone airflow controller or even a 510-510 adapter to raise it up off the top of the mod. I all I really use on the k100 is rda's and rba's.

Hey man, I run with a K100 and use an Omega. Something I've noticed is that the 18350 battery really won't work I bigger tanks or RDA/RBAs. The current is not strong enough. Definitely use the bigger 18650 batter and/or invest in a sony vtc4/vtc5 battery. These batteries will light up the tank and produce some great vape.
I always use the battery at the fullest potential and that the firing pin is all the way down, for the k100, that's always how it's used. IGO W and IGO L are very cheap, shop around on craigslist. But yeah definitely try a new battery as that is most likely the problem.
Make sure you have a good charger like the intellicharger, the k100 charger it came with SUCKS! Invest in a better one and you will be all set.
