i have ego ctwtist and when i charge it the light blinks 3 times and stay on, showing it is charging
it never turns to fully charged i left it for longer that what it said to be fully chraged
so i took it out and connected tank, here comes a problem
i charged for like 4 hours and when i connect tank it blinks like the battery is dead, if i take out the tank and just press the button on battery it does not blink.
i had this same problem for 3 different batteries, 2 of them was topoo ce4 battery and now its ego ctwtist. anyone know why this is happening?

What are you using to charge?
Best to use a wall wort instead of USB.
Is the charger & 510 connection clean?

Also run a Qtip around the inside at the top of your battery - fluid may have leaked in and be shorting it.

I would have to agree that this sounds like your problem... I found that a lot of my cartos leaked into my 510 connections on my battery, and if you don't clean them well before you charge them, it will cause the 510 connection of the charger to oxidize and gunk up. Unplug the charger from the wall/usb and clean the contact point with a Qtip and some rubbing alcohol... you can do the same thing with your battery terminals. Just make sure to check that they are dry before connecting them together or to your tank setup.

Welcome to the forums and good luck with your problem!

First, what are you using on the batteries that have crapped out? Do you know the resistance of those devices?

The behaviors on the charger and when connected to a device are both wrong.

On the charger the Twist LED should blink three times and go out.

When you connect a device and hit the fire button once, if it blinks multiple times and the battery then shuts down the protection circuit has been tripped. If it does the same thing with nothing attached to the battery the protection has been permanently tripped, so you need to figure out what is killing off multiple batteries. Which leads us back to the questions: What are you using on the batteries and do you know the resistance of the device?

i got it off from smokeshop it was in a plastic bag package
doesnt show what resistance it is
my ego ctwist is about size of my ipod touch not sure if it is 650,900, or 1000
my chargers inputs 5v and outputs 4.2v(420mA)

ive tried cleaning the charger and battery like ppl said on top and it isnt leaking problem too

now i got my battery replaced from smokeshop so its working, but afraid same things gonna happen when this battery dies.
