I am an avid 808D user, and I had a Blu to start with but the carts were inconsistent, I did find some 308 refillables that worked on the unit until I ordered like 20 and was like yeah this will work and actually all 20 of them were defective and lol ELP dropped them from stock right after I ordered them hmmmm I wonder why. Then switched to Bloog, great vape BTW. Well I have been working on a way to make those mini Blu batteries work, and I am now from time to time using this system and it really works, still have to deal with having to change the battery every 2-3 vape breaks but it really isn't bad actually quite good.

First order these if you have a Blu or Volcano or something similar, Thread Adaptors the 510to808D-1 adapter this will only add about 2cm to the length of the ecig, now you can get your prefilleds from Bloog or V4l or any retailer that carries 808D-1 products, also now you have the freedom to fill your own, and even if you have a Volcano that has the Blank cartos 808-D carts produce better vapor and hold more liquid. Now here is the comparison I have made comparing performance and such to regular 808-D models.

Blu(or similar)+510to808D-1 and 808D-1 cartos compared to V4L 808D-1 Batt with same 808D-1 Carto

Vapor production: exactly the same as V4L model surprisingly
Consistentsy of battery hits: exactly the same as V4L model(I think the original carts were the problem with consistency as when applying the Blu carts, once again got inconsistent hits)
Cart Heating up too fast: didn't happen
Throat hit: again Same as 808D-1 model
Battery life: still about an hour less fully charged than the V4L battery but really seemed like it lasted longer then it did with Blu carts
Price compared to switching to brand new model: about $80 dollars cheaper

The only thing that is going to keep this from turning into my primary vape is the Blu PCC, still only charges batteries about 5 times I think and that won't get you through most days depending on how you use it. This is the cheapest and best way to effectively save the stress of having to switch from the smaller model which really is why you bought it in the first place. I get the same hits on it unfortunately still have not been able to find a way to mod a PCC to charge the Blu style batts as many times that would be needed for it to be a heavy vapers tool. I will keep you updated and hope this at least keeps you going on your well not so good unit.

Long and short this gives you a 1000x better model then the Blu like model you had was and it only costs around $6 with shipping all you need to do now is buy some carts. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Happy Vaping.

Yeah the only piece I ever threw away, was the e-smoke, mainly because it literally didn't do anything but light up. Nice little inhale activated low light flashlight lol. Kind of wonder though if I should have kepth it, as there may have been a way to adapt it. Not realy looking to grab one to test that theory as it would require me to pay double lol. But this seems to do the trick and is insanely cheap about $6 for the adapter and 13 for a pack of 808 carto's or whatever cartos you choose with the adapter you choose. I think that if I can upgrade it to a PCC that can charger that gets a great deal more charges this may become my primary, of course I still want to get the Volcano batts as they have a better switch in them.
