Got my 100mg nic today!!!

Okay, so not totally Reo related.......but I only vape on Reo's, so I figure this qualifies since the nic will be vaped exclusively in my mini...

Got my 100mg 1000mL nic juice from My Freedom Smokes today!! First, massive kudos for shipping time! Ordered it Sunday afternoon, arrived today (Thursday)! Second, hallelujah for not requiring a signature for delivery. Working 12 hour day shifts makes it hard to ever get to the darn post office! My husband happened to work a later shift today and heard USPS drop it on my front porch. Yippee!

Now for the funny part. I was a little afraid to store 100mg in the freezer. Plus it arrived in a plastic bottle. So I decided I would go ahead and cut it to 50mg when it arrived. Stopped by the liquor store, snagged 3 bottles of cheap-o (and I mean dirt cheap rot gut) vodka in glass bottles. Dumped the vodka (ok, I did mix up one vodka cranberry, and it is nasty vodka) and I am now the proud owner of 2000mL of 50mg nic!! My kitchen sink pipes are probably eroding away from the vodka I dumped out. Why not just buy other bottles you ask? Because this horrid putrid $2.99 per bottle crap was cheaper and faster than ordering glass bottles online!

I figured the vodka sterilized the bottles, rinsed it with distilled water anyways to get the vodka out, and whammo filled the bottles with the cut nic. I sealed the bottles, wrapped the caps in tape to protect the seal, and put each bottle in a big plastic bag. They are safely tucked away in my spare fridge freezer down in my garage. And I labeled them so no drunken family member visiting some weekend mistakes them for actual vodka!!

Given that I vape appx 12mg nic juice, I think it is safe to say I am stocked up on nic for awhile..........

Take THAT FDA. Joke is on you this time!

I pretty much exclusively vape DIY but I do occasionally splurge on BWB or AlienVisions. Its worth it in my opinion to try not just because of the cost but because in a pinch, its fairly unlikely you'll run into the issue of not having something to vape. I usually keep about 500mls of my homemade Cin (Orange, Honey, Cinnamon) on hand at any given time and like the flavor better than about 95% of the available juices I've tried.

Absolutely..

I use PFA (Perfumer's Apprentice) Sweet Orange Oil, PFA Cinnamon Redhots, and Lorann's LorannOil Honey (which isn't actually an oil).

I make it at 20% Flavor at 10 mg/ml strength though of course nic strength is adjustable. I've found the best mix for this is either 100% VG (minus the PG in the flavors) or 70%PG/30% VG. The recipe is per 10ml.

The percentage of the flavor mix by ingredient is:

1 drop of Stevia (works better than Ethyl Maltol for this recipe)
10% Cinnamon Redhots
5% Honey
5% tincture of Orange oil. I dissolve the Orange oil in grain alcohol first so that it becomes compatible with the attys.

To expand it to 100mls, the recipe follows:
10 ml of 100mg nic juice in PG at 10% of recipe
40 ml of PG for 40% of recipe
30 ml of VG for 30% of recipe
10 ml of PGA Cinnamon Redhot 10% of recipe
5 ml of Lorann Oil Honey at 5% of recipe
5 ml of Pure Grain alcohol premixed with 2 drops of PGA Sweet Orange for 5% of recipe
10 drop of Stevia.

While the Stevia would slightly water down the nic level, its fairly neglible imo. Warning though, before this juice steeps the Stevia will make it grossly sweet, give it a week at least. You can also cut down the Stevia to 5 drops if its still to sweet for you but beyond that, the lack of Stevia seems to remove the slight orange highlights.

I have a huge stash as well but I'm considering purchasing one of the DIY attys that are available because I seriously doubt that nichrome wire is going to become restrictively regulated.

NP! The orange isn't overwhelming but its there. If you've ever had specialty orange blossom honey with cinnamon in it, it might remind you of that.

Total side tip for DIYers. While I love those artisan kits, get yourself a couple of glass graduated cylinders and you don't have to spend big money because if you go to bed bath and beyond, they sell them in the kitchen section (made of pyrex) for far cheaper than you can get them from chem supply houses. For the smaller more precise measurements, nothing, in my opinion, beats the little OXO micromeasurement cups which will set you back a cool 1.19 at Bed, Bath, and Beyond.

My 1000ml 100mg nic is still in the mail. Nice work on the bottling. I went ahead and ordered the glass bottles from myfreedomsmokes. They seemed reasonable so I got a bunch to hold my DIY and one of the big ones for freezing.

I'm stockpiling nicquid too: before I read of the My Liberty Flights sale in this thread (thanks!), I had about 4.5 liters of the 100 ml./mg. high-test stuff. Ordered another two liters, so soon I'll have about 6.5 liters. That stash should last me until I'm 90 or so.

As I've done with the other high-test, I'll put this in two- and four-ounce blue glass Boston bottles and stash them in the bottom of the freezer. Prominently labelled, of course. It also helps that our young 'un is all growed up and flapping and living in Washington, DC.

What did you use to cut it? Did you get it all VG and add that much pg or vice versa? That would make it 50/50 in my little mind. Just curious as a new DIY'er.

I got my 100mg nic today! I have yet to cut it and put it in glass bottles.
The thing I do not get is how they can ship without ANY notice on the package that it is a poison, and a liquid!
I ALWAYS mark or notify upon shipping any juice with or without nic.
It is stated in the postal code that they must have the package marked. I don't think I have ever received a package containing nic liquid that has been marked as a liquid or a poison.

Me either and I didn't even have to sign for my 100mg nic juice while I hear that others have.
