Got my adapters today......

Well, after accidentally buying 510 cartomizers with a 808 battery I bought 2 adapters. I get them today, after being told they will work fine and not have any vapor lose, I'm completely disappointed. I gave to take about 3 puffs to even get any vapor from one battery and the other one doesn't even light up. Thought maybe it was dead so put one of my 808 cartomizers in it and it worked just fine.

Im so mad right. I bought the adapters because they were supposed to make the 510 cartomizers work with my batteries but it takes so much effort to just get a little vapor that I end up just giving up and smoking an analog.

I know the best decision is to just buy a 510 battery or stick to 808 cartomizers, I just wanted to rant for a minute. Just makes me mad.

That does suck. I fortunately started with 510 threaded items and have continued to do so. converting earlier than later is probably going to be easier on you. I am sure there are some that will swear by 808 items though.

I've heard both are good. Just found out that a local liquor store sells 808 cartomizers for pretty cheap and they taste pretty good. First hit always makes me cough. Just upsets me that I spent money on cartos I can't use

Just get an Ego-T and call it a day. In fact, get a few and some Vivi nova heads and you will never look back.

510 is more widely used on devices vs 808. Cartos will vary by manufacturer

Hi Shinrya, not all is lost. What kind of batteries do you have? Not all adapters are made the same. If your kr808D-1 battery is a newer, sealed automatic, then you'll need to get the proper adapter--one that is slotted on the bottom of the center post. Sealed batteries have a different airflow from the unsealed autos or manuals. Make sure that your adapter has a slot for airflow. I'm not sure where you can get them--I used to buy mine from Madvapes and Good Prophets, and they were the right kind. Some of those adapters are adjustable--I'm not sure what you've got. You had to thread them onto the battery first, and then screw the carto on (or was it the other way?), not too tight, to get the air to flow correctly.

If you have an unsealed or manual battery, this should not be a problem.

Unless you have old-style kr808 cartos that are not slotted on the bottom and they won't work even on new kr808 batteries--in that case you might need a kr808>901 adapter.

It might be easier and cheaper in the long run to just get a 510 battery and an USB 510 charger, honestly. Try WordupEcig--they have plenty of those and offer free shipping!
