Okay, so I'm new (obviously) to vaping and I am completely and totally in love with it. I also have become completely addicted to this forum, this week I think I logged more hours here than on facebook, if you can believe it.

Yes, I have purchased a Blu, which I understand many on here dislike for various reasons. I DO like it, although someday I would like to buy another (probably a 510) just for the heck of it. So, that being said, I really don't care to hear from every guy/gal out there saying I need to trash it. Financially it was what I could invest in at the time, and I haven't had any issues with it, as of yet. Loved the starter kit: two ways to charge, 25 carts that once used can be refilled, 2 bats, 2 atomizers, awesome PCC....great deal!

What I want to know is:
  • if there is a cheaper place out there to buy spares (bats and atomizers) than the blu website? I understand Volcanoes atomizers are not quite the right fit which would annoy the heck out of me...
  • can you use the pyramid teabag mod on it?
  • does anyone have any tips tricks that they know will work on this model of e-cig?
I have spent hours on here trying to find out whatever I can about my "little buddy" , but am only finding rants and raves when it come to the Blu, and honestly I am happy with my purchase, so I just want info, not opinions, ya know?

Volcano is a total blu clone, so their parts are completely interchangable. Unless they changed the model....an L88 is an L88.

As for any kind of cart mods, they are really small. Direct dripping is probably the best option, however possibly a little bit of the FLUVAL would be nice too.

I'd look into dipping instead of dripping with the L88. The exposed atomizer bridge makes dipping possible and the automatic batteries make dripping a little risky.

True that. I havent used my volcano in so long forgot it was exposed.

Good stuff.

No worries, despite all the rants/complaints, the L88B is a good PV.

Blu and Volcano are the EXACT same model, so parts are swapable, get your attys from Volcano, much cheaper, and better Cust. Service. Or, as an alternative, the Joye 306 will fit the L88B, and is supposed to be a better vape. FYI, all the parts are cheaper thru Volcano, so it's really just a matter of asthetics and your prefs.

You absolutely can do the PTB mod on the carts, merely use half of a half sheet (does that make sense?), and then trim to fit cart. Dipping is great with these attys, over time you just might find yourself dipping/dripping more than you use carts (I know I did)
