Yes!!! Its finally here. Much faster than I had expected considering I was shipping it from UK to Singapore. Its exactly a week (7 days) since I placed my order with e-cigs.co.uk.

Everything seems to be in order. Havn't checked through all the atomizer (I ordered 2 extra). Charging one of the battery now while puffing away on the other.

First impressions ..... acceptable amount of vapour, slightly less throat feeling than a real cig, different way of drawing the smoke (will have to get the hang of it). However, the biggest difference is THE TASTE! I have been smoking for abt a decade. To me, the taste of the e-cig was like non-existant. I could feel the smoke but couldn't taste anything. Hopefully my tongue will be more sensitive after I switch over to e-cig. (BTW, havng a piece of mint in your mouth while smoking really enhanced the menthol feeling.)

I do have a slight complain abt the package. When I opened it up, the atomizers felt sticky and had the smell of e-liquid. Not too sure if there was a leak or was it supposed to be like that in the first place? And one more thing is the cartridges are rather loose when fitted into the atomizer. I supposed this can't be helped.

Overall, I am rather pleased with my purchase. I would really like to thank Smokester! for his quality product and being so helpful. Hopefully I can make the transistion over to e-cigs completely asap.

Been smoking for 2 days since I got my e-cig. Amount of vapours seems constant and satisfactory. I also noticed that the tightness I get in my lungs from smoking normal cigs is gone.

However, one thing I can't get used to is the lack of flavor. I can't seem to taste anything from the vapours at all, even if I am using a high menthol flavor cart. Is this normal? I know smoking over the years has dulled my sense of taste and smell. To me, all the carts smell the same (sweet syrupy smell) and taste the same (no taste). I rather miss the bitter acrid smoke and the minty sting from a normal menthol cigarette.
Is the flavor of e-cigs cartridges supposed to be this mild? I had thought at least there would be some taste to the vapours. I am planning to get some Johnson Creek e-liquid but I am really worried it would taste this mild too.

tifa flavour of carts is quite wimpy but after a week or so you should be able to taste the flavours better.with your sense of taste returning!
if you want more flavour try some johnson creek juice!

I havent got my JC liquid yet so not sure if it's the same. But everything else I have it very flavourful and the flavours are very easy to taste. Like all my fruity types of liquids from e-cig.com, all very nice tasting, and you can pretty much point out what the taste is even without looking at the bottle. and my njoy carts are very good too. Not sure what to recommend for menthol tastes cause I'm not a menthol smoker :)

Hi there all i've been stoogin around the forum now for a few days trying to get a handle on this subject of e smokin. as of yet i haven't dipped my toe into the waters as i'm still trying to work out my needs.
I must confess to being a bit of a chain smoker ( 2 to 3 packs a day!!)
would i be better off say getting 2 of the classic pen style starter kits and say 50 cartridges and the use the e liquids from jason creek to refill the cartridges as i use them, (if this is possible?) or do / should i buy the empty carts for filling to use with the pen style (when i get it!!) hoping for some good advice from a seasoned e smoker out there thankyou.

Welcome Noddster, I think most start out with Penstyle and a 901 which is a little smaller but has more vapor than the penstyle. Get extra atomizer for both if you can.
and some juice to fill cartridges. Try some different flavors to find what pleases you.
With all that your ready to begin your journey. Good Luck and enjoy.

Probably a bit of both DF- might be time to pick up an atomizer first, see if that fixes the issue, then a battery too if the issue isn't solved by the new atomizer. Atomizers are getting pretty innexpensive these days, so shop around to find a cheap one
