Another quick taster review on the LR atty for the C. :2cool:

Copper Creek VooDoo 20PG/80VG 12mg nic.
Very evenly blended flavors with mild tobacco notes complimented by vanilla, caramel and just a hint of lemon/honey. This is a nice variation on the RY4 theme and is excellent on the LR atty. Great vapor and smooth TH. The SR seems to bring out the sweeter tones.

Everything just tastes very clean with the eGo-C on either atty. Would love to hear more tasting notes on the LR from you guys and gals. :D

Well, I will say this - I've tried dripping after getting in a LR 510 atomizer and a drip tip on my Ego Passthrough. I honestly don't see what the fuss is about with dripping. I didn't get anything close to the clean and flavorFULL taste that I get from using my tank on the LR atty.

And honestly, I clearly flooded the atty, with all the juice running down the sides of the passthrough. I did just get in a drip shield yesterday, and have some more drip tips on order. I found the draw very hard, and after awhile, my mouth felt like it does when you are trying to drink a thick milkshake through a straw. But with the drip shield and some more drip tips to try, I do plan to try dripping again. I still haven't tried using any carto's for comparison to the C tank yet.

But with my logic, doesn't the C do exactly what dripping does, but in a much cleaner delivery? Yes, you can't just "taste test" a few drops with the tank, but that's the only difference in MY logic I'm seeing.

Rabernet,
My drip tip drawing "dust", cast off to the side since I got my LR Atty's

Sammy, I bought some Tobacco flavors from Mom & Pop Vapor Shop.

Loaded up Tobacco Haze first.. On the LR Atty, Nice taste, smooth TH, and as much vapor production as you want. We have Cinema Suites theatre's here in KC, the one's with the nice recliners, and in seat food and drink service. We had back row seats last night for Sherlock Holmes. So, after dinner, I vaped this flavor non-stop w/ my Mango Margarita... Nice Caramel/Nutty tones, not too sweet either. Rabernet suggested this Vape shop, so I bought 15ml/24mg bottles of: Tobacco Haze, RY4, and RY4V2.. I'll update on the RY flavors as I get to them today. :)

I've posted on pretty much every Ego-C thread since I received my C-LR setup this morning...I'll say here what I said on all the others, the C model with the LR atomizers blows my old T model away in every respect, finally know what vaping is suppose to be, amazing flavor, can't rave enough about this upgrade, I'm using the K-Go SLB batteries, I'm sure that helps the overall performance as well, no expensive mods needed here folks.

Truman, nice that the "C" has worked well for you. So many are jaded about tank systems, after all the issues w/ the Ego "T".. I'm glad I contacted TW the day I got mine, and asked for a return authorization. My timing was good, as the "C" had just become available through Ovale, and they over night shipped to me. I was just tired of direct dripping on a 510 Atty.

You've got to try Ms T's Bananas Fosters Coffee (without cream) on this LR Atty.... I've been vaping this flave for over 3 yrs now, and it is still my favorite, even on the "C" LR Atty. I do have some Kona Coffee Milkshake on the way though, and the Tobacco flavors I got from Mom & Pop Vape are really nice. Though I need to finish off all of the 15ml bottles before I will give them the stamp of approval.

I've also been vaping Mutt's Fire 'n' Ice from Vapor Bomb. It's a real nice Red Hotz/Menthol combo vape flavor. Vapor Bomb customers rave about the Hypnotic Mist flavor offered there. I have a 30ml bottle steeping...

RZ, Tobacco Haze really comes into it's full glory on Day 8 of its made date. Not sure when yours was made, but if it was before Day 8, you're going to be enjoying it even more after that! Glad that you got to enjoy it last night!

I love the RY4V2. If you like fruit flavors, I recommend M&P's Butterfly Bait and Crazy Ape and Tropical Smoothie. Heck, all the fruits I've tried from them have been A-MAZ-ING, but it's those three that I re-ordered 30 mls of.

Thanks for the steep schedule Rabernet! My mix date was 12/12, so maybe I'll let it sit for a couple more days. Will probably try a tank of the RY4/RY4V2, and then let them steep out a few more days...

My Hypnotic Mist now at a couple weeks steep, so time to see if it's "Everything" that all the VaporBomb groupies are raving bout!

My ego-c LR atty is performing very very good.
best atty i've vaped with till now.
Only problem a full tank last me just 20 minutes.
i really need the type B version!

Holy cow! A tank lasts ME all day (I'm clearly not a heavy vaper). Though I'm trending towards a tank and a half with the LR atty.

I know my atty gets hot sometimes when I vape frequently - yours has to be on fire! :2cool:

yes i'm talking about LR's.
i do long double inhales or triplets most of the time, that's why i empty a 1ml tank so quickly (0.8ml the real capacity leaving some air on top).
Anyway i do not vape like that the whole day!
But when i vape i vape heavy, long sessions.
About 8-10ml a day more or less, low nicotine content though.

1ml tanks are unconfortable for me specially when i'm driving.
I was used to 2ml T tanks, they last double the time before refilling beeing double the capacity of course.
I use EMDC for driving now, i can make a long drive without refilling with those, but i like more the C atties cleaner taste.

Gotta try that one! Mom & Pop seem to have some nicely crated juice. Any tasting notes on the RY4?

...and that one too! I looked on the Ms T's site and did not see a PG/VG blend?

Sammy,

I liked the RY4V2 over the RY4. The regular RY4 was much sweeter aftertones. The RY4V2 was my favorite of all 3.

As for Ms T's, her juices are all PG/VG blends, though she doesn't give out specific ratio, does mention in the 70/30 range.

So from experience,

1. Would a Riva SE/eGo-C LR atty setup be overkill for the fruit/sweet flavours? And...

2. Would a Riva SE + eGo-C SR setup equal an eGo battery + Ego-C LR setup experience?

I use Riva SE batteries exclusively, and I have a stock of those. I have only one eGo-T 1000maH that was sent to me by mistake and is just collecting dust because it does not provide enough voltage. A Riva SE combined with an SR Type T atty (my current setup) do provide an acceptable TH for me (18mg, 80% PG).

Typical flavours I vape are: Baklava (almond + honey), Eastern Odyssey (black tea + bergamot), Mai Tai (rum + orange), Pina Colada, Cherry Cola, Strawberry, Melon, Black Cherry (leans toward a bitter almond-ish flavour). I rarely vape tobacco flavours, though I have some, and never coffees.

So my final choice really boils down to whether a Riva SE/eGo-C LR would overcook my fruity/sweet juices and ruin the experience.

(I am looking for a bit more TH, but overcooking my juice is more of a concern for me)

In my experience even the SE with LR doesn't 'burn' these flavors but it does wash them out to where they aren't that flavorful.

2. Would a Riva SE + eGo-C SR setup equal an eGo battery + Ego-C LR setup experience?

There have been some 'range' on the SR atty heads but using 2.3Ω for the SR and 1.8Ω for the LR and 3.7v for the SE and ave. 3.3V for the eGo batt..... you get 5.95Watts with the SE/SR match and 6.05Watts with the eGo/LR.... so that is close to an equivalency - I've never detected a difference in .1 Watts :) Difference for me, start to show with a wider range .5-.8 watts. And even that depends on flavor.

Might want to pull that 1000 batt out of the drawer just for a comparison...

I'm not familiar with those particular ejuices but just from similar sounding ones - you might be able to vape the tea on an SE/LR set up. Cherry is one of the wildest flavors there is - it can be from very light to very strong and I"ve had some cherry flavors (not the black cherry, btw - which I'd vape as 'light') that would hold up to SE/LR but not likely all cherry. I'd likely vape the melon, strawberry and pina colada on an SR atty with the SE - but you might find they'd be even better on the 1000 and an SR. Some flavors seem to 'span' wattage - RY4 and some caramels can taste good but still different at various wattages and don't usuallly lose flavor with higher wattages. I suggest using some VG with the tank system (I use VG/H2O blend and a VG nic base) but for throat hit - I'd stay in the 75PG to 25VG range....

Thanks Kent!

That was the type of answer I was looking for. You were extremely helpful! :)

Maybe that was the reason why I had only bad luck with the Riva SE/LR Type B combo then!

I have ordered just one SS atty cone + base and 5 SR heads from Ovale Ireland, along with 2 juices to try. They didn't have LR heads though.

I will use the Riva/SR combo when they arrive and see how it goes. I might even try the LRs with the eGo-T battery and see also how that goes.

I have a VV eGo batt, but don't have much confidence in it as my volt meter is giving me lower readings than advertised for this battery. Using a SR Type B T atty on the VV also reflects this, though on the highest setting it is OK, but still, I get around 3.82V not under load vs the advertised 4.2V. Lowest setting gives around 2.85V and mid setting around 3.5V. And I'm not sure if these are regulated.

So I will have to test using the eGo batt.

Thanks again! ;)

Welcome!

I have three VV eGo's (4 counting the PT) and I like them well enough but for flavor on most of my flavors, I'm using the regular eGo batt. Exceptions are... on the PT I have on high for DV's Doppio Espresso and BWB Espresso - drip only on a cisco 306lr - perfect! :) ... and I can use the lowest setting on the VV or Lotus Flower and Black Currant - my lightest flavors, the flavor is slightly better, although the vapor suffers some, so I'm usually on a regular eGo batt even with those.
