I used some compressed air to blow out the atomizer. That helped, but there's still some burnt smell. I'm guessing they use a vegetable oil in the factory to keep the thing moist. Blowing it out, the stuff that came out had a viscous feel. Then again, they make these things in China. It could be machine oil.

I still get way more vapor from the 510. it just goes to show the old rule is always right. if something works well enough, leave it alone. In my case, the 510 was fine for my habit. I should have stuck with it and left the complicated stuff to others. Live and learn.

Machine oil is a terrific guess taste wise imho, really awful. I can tell you that the new attys I have bought do not have that same primer in them.

It's probably all gunked up with juice. I soaked mine in iso alcohol for about 15 minutes then hot water and let it sit for a day until it's dry. I like the tank when it's working, I just had problems with it. There are tons of fixes for it if you do a search on the board.

I have a 510 and ego. I like the 510 but love the ego. Get a box of boge cartos. You can use them on both your ego and 510. Well, you can't use the LR cartos on the 510 but you can on the ego and get a better vape.
Save the tank for a rainy day when you're in the mood to fool with it. Crystal Clear vaping usually has a sale on boge cartos- 15 for 20. You can mix it up too and get some regular cartos and some LR cartos.

Just label your LR cartos somehow so you don't put them on your 510. Something I neglected to do.

No Dave I did not. I paid 55 bucks for a kit, not a battery. We shall see what they do.

wow all these issues with the ego-t glad i have yet to run into any of them. Mudder that is crap that they sent you the wrong package, hope you get a good resolution on that.

There is a video on how to fix the leak on cignot, or on Youtube, seems like a very common problem with the eGo tank

i think the ego t attys are pretty ....e keep getting hard draws on all 5 of them changed 1

bought an ego-t as a first 3 months ago don't know anything else to compare it to. But do know that I have not had an analog since trying this so gone from 40 a day for 42 years to none I personally think its a win
