Soooo, so exited!!!

I got two orders in today, one from OneStopDIYshop and one from Perfumer's Apprentice. They both shipped really fast.

So I got my DIY PG/VG nicotine concoction and my red hot cinnamon flavoring. I'm waiting on a couple other flavors and I'm going to attempt my own version of Red Hots. Just a quick question .... do I have to let everything "steep" together before I vape it? And if so, how long?

Thanks!:)

I'd shake them up well and sample. You might like it as-is, or decide it needs a little more of this or less of that. Once you get some practice with what percentages the flavors you work with like to be used at, as well as a repertoire of tried-and-true recipes that you know you like, it'll be easier to make batches ahead of time and let them sit and mellow while you use up what you already have onhand. Lots of bottles of various experiments sitting around here, some have worked better than others, but learning by doing is a sure way to success. Good luck with your endeavour and enjoy what you create.

Thanks. Already made my first batch ... haven't tried vaping it yet. Didn't want to do so and be disappointed if it didn't have enough flavor or until I heard if I really needed to let it all seep together or not.

Might just "sample" it now :)

Some flavors need steeping, others don't. I always try a new recipe immediately after giving the bottle a good long shake session. If it doesn't taste right I'll adjust it by adding more flavoring, or let it sit a while to see if it'll improve with age. One thing to keep in mind with cinnamon flavors is that they have a bad habit of cracking plastic tanks so keep that in mind for future reference.

Thanks! I'm doing a little bit of both now. I have some that I'm going to try as soon as I use up what's currently in my tank and then I've got some set aside to "age." They both taste great with a "tongue check."

Yep, I use a metal tank. I'm somewhat OCD.... and my entire setup has to be chrome. LOL

Some good advice given here. I'll just add that you should taste it after you mix it and you will have a base line on which to judge how it changes over time. Just go really light on the cinnamon at first or you may be in for a very unplesent surprize. You can always add more if it's to light. Also remember that cinnamon cracks plastic cartos so you may want to get a glass tank if your going to vape this full time.

Thanks! I had't even considered a glass tank. I use a chrome/aluminum tank. It works well but I do admit, I wish it was easier to see when filling. But I'd probably never be happy with glass. I'm very OCD and like the overall look of an all chrome unit. LOL
