RDA Got my first RDA..... and its too small.

So after about a week looking at many different rda's i finally found one that i liked Tesla DII and placed an order.

Its finally arrived today and the Deck is tiny, made for micro coils. I was hoping i would use this rda for 24guage wire, but at best it will take 28g wire.
Great quality though and i only paid $12 with shipping.

Guess ill order the larger brother 26650 of this RDA.

you should be able to build anything on that, try going longer on the center leg maybe...

The main deck has no room for larger wire. Its smaller then most 22mm RDA's.

Odd. I don't see video reviews but from the pics I find on google the deck doesn't look all that dissimilar than a TOBH, which handles 24ga easily. I do have to angle the coils though to get them to sit neatly and wick nice.

Update:

After about 5 tries, buddy of mine helped me build a coil that works. 24g, 4 wraps, 3mm =0.43ohms. A nice silky vape at 55wats.

There's an inverse relationship between flavor and chamber size.

I'll be truthful. The image is off Google. Didn't have mine handy.

But... The one pictured is simply a 450mah eGo, Squid RDA (also called a Smok Mini RDA), and what looks to be a acrylic or delrin shorty wide bore 510 drip tip (not sure on that one, I use an aluminum shorty). All in all, if you shop wisely, about $17-20 total.

Edit: Don't forget the beauty ring. That dripper is a 510 connection.

I love my squid.
With a little patience they can hold a mean coil.

That's twisted 28g with 1.4mm id its wrapped 6/7 and is coming in at 0.59 ohm.

To be honest I like it better than most of my other RDAs because vapor production is crazy good for the size and flavor is incredible.

A friend of mine built quad nanos in his squid at a whopping 0.12 ohm and that thing was throwing bigger clouds than I thought possible.

Now I'm thinking about buying another and a tiny ego battery.

Honestly I don't know why more people don't use them. Great little flavor attys.

My only complaint is I wish it had some sort of edge on the deck. Even just a millimeter or two. No well = pain in the drip! ...messy...

On that note I've been playing with the idea of a attacking the deck with a dremel and seeing if I can make a tiny well.
