The cotton wick took me a few tries to get it working right. Too much or too dense won't wick fast enough. Make sure not to block the juice channels on the base and it's vaping bliss. I have a precision screwdriver I use to wrap coils on it's about 1/16 diameter so it's easier to feed the cotton thru. With 28 kanthal it works out to about .2 ohms per wrap. Best so far has been 1.2-1.4 ohm builds. 6 or 7 wraps. Too hot and you can damage the insulator under the positive block so I save the low ohm builds for the drippers on a mech and the kayfun on my MVP. I really wish they would come out with a 19mm version. It would be awesome on my VTR.

nelska,

I've got a KFL clone from FT, and had a couple problems with it leaking. First, the inside of the top cap is different than the real one, and the o-ring is finicky about seating onto the chimney. I found out the hard way what happens when this isn't seated properly. The other problem was the air channel wasn't drilled out cleanly and there was debris in where the it met the center channel. It was still passing air, but it was like a tight draw, so I was pulling hard and sucking too much juice and flooded the deck. Once I found the debris and cleaned it out, the leaking problems disappeared.

Thank's, yeh. I figured the clone wouldn't be exactly quality, but it does work so I'm happy. There's a couple different parts on the chimney that doesnt have seal rings but seems like they should and I think thats what leaked when I first started using it. but i took it apart and tightened everything down and it hasnt leaked since. The first piece of the three that makes up the tank seems like it could use a better seal ring but the one it came with works well enough to keep it from leaking. Overall its the best thing ive vaped out of so I might end up buying another version sooner or later.

Cut the ring off that VTR, you will love it

You don't have to mess with the airflow screw to get more juice into the chamber, I usually unscrew the top metal tank piece (not the cap) a little bit and you will see air bubbles start to come up. Obviously don't unscrew so much that the tank starts to come off but at least halfway. Works very well for me. I only wish the Kayfun had post holes.
