After talking with a few on here I was going to order a eGo kit off the web. I had researched to find someone local but only found the cig stores that either couldn't explain what they had or just to busy to take the time to explain. After almost giving up I searched one more time and found a store in Richmond called Vapor Stix. I was estatic, a shop really close to me....yes!!! Called them guy started to immediately explain the process, wooohooo. So I went by his shop, he had a steady stream of people coming and going. When it was my turn he showed me step by step how it all works. Short and sweet. So, I picked up a eGo kit, came with 2 upgraded eGo-C 900mAh batteries, tank of my choosing, wall charger, usb cord and 18mg USA tobacco juice...plus a carrying case....$60 out the door and he had about every flavor you could want. I've got to do some research on some good flavors. Lol.....just remembered he filled it up and let me test it, I hit it a little hard....lol, he was like "you hit it a little hard didn't you?" as I was trying to not cough all over the place. Anyway, I am so pleased, I've tried for years to not pick up a analog, constantly falling back to them. I have never went a day without smoking in the past 20 years. I can finally say, yesterday, I PUT DOWN THE CIGS FOR GOOD!!!! I am so releaved, just estatic.
First day I smoked the last of my cigs, the next day I was worried but kept my e-cig close by and just took a drag when I started thinking I couldn't do it. I am so happy, it has been such a battle to put the analog down but now I don't think I will ever go back. From a guy who just liked to smoke to a guy who doesn't ever want to again.
Josh

P.S. I think someone on here mentioned Vapor Stix and several order from the guy but if you are looking for a supplier his website is vapor-stix.net

Welcome and congrats on 2 days! Today will be day 6 without cigs for myself. There will be times when you crave a good old fashioned smoke (at least I still do from time to time at this point). Just grab your PV and stay strong, it will get easier. This site has been very informative and the outpouring of support is just amazing.

Good job...I'm on day 7...it only gets easier and your distain for analogs will only grow as well. The benefits to vaping far outweigh those of smoking analogs...that list is very long. It's very liberating. I too LOVED smoking but now I LOVE Vaping. I smoked a pad Newport for 18 years and quit cold turkey and haven't cheated in a week, something I have NEVER done. Whenever you feel like "maybe I'll have just one to remember how it feels" go online and look at cancer, lung trauma, mouth cancer etc. victim pictures..it just ain't worth it man. You can get all the satisfaction you feind for from Vaping.

Welcome and congratulations! Once you stick to your eGo for a few more days you will completely HATE the taste and smell of a cigarette, and that's when you REALLY quit. I vaped for about 5 days and tried a cigarette on day 6 and it was disgusting, I knew right then that I was really done with smoking/chewing tobacco...it was such a great feeling!

Keep up with your batteries (charged and at the ready at all times), keep your juice stocked, and you'll be completely fine! This community is one of the best on the internet so if you have any worries or questions, do NOT hesitate to ask. You will get your answers and support quickly from us, good luck bud!

I haven't had any cravings at all since I started vaping. It's working out well for me but I have been vaping like a madman. I've gone through so much juice that it's unbelievable to me but I guess I'm still finding my comfort zone/daily juices. I've been mentioning to other people the benefits of e-cigs but I don't know how seriously they take it at this point. All I can say is that I'm satisfied and it feels a bit like cheating but it's all good.

it's awesome that you found a B&M store nearby for a lot of the folks here that's not an option and that means going online and making sure you have plenty of backups.
For me I have 3 stores nearbye.. and though the price may be a bit higher than online.. if I accidently run out of heads or juice I can run to a store and get em.

Contgrats on 2 days.. Ecigs are the method I used to quit the longest period of time in my 12 years of smoking and 3-4 years of trying ot quit and failing.

SUPER congrats to all of you beginners. I know it is not easy; but I can tell you that it does get easier in time.

I was lucky too and was able to buy my start-up at a brick and mortar store. Getting that face-to-face really helped a lot and seeing what they were doing to get me started.

I wish all of you great success and remember that we are here for you if you have ANY questions!

Congratulations! My wife has 2 days analog free also. I know that struggle all too well, but i agree it does get easier, a lot easier. I was vaping like crazy the first month, but now I'm coming to the point where I've calmed down a bit (after having so much fun :D). I dumped the analogs almost two months ago and I'm glad to see others tobacco free and having fun... :)

Thanks guys, makes it real nice to have a B&M around. I went out on smoke break while ago to show my smoker friends. They seemed really interested and asked for links to where I got my stuff. If I can get my smoker friends to take up vaping then we can test out new flavors between us....hehehe. I didn't even want a analog while I was out there watching them light up. Just think, no looking for lost lighters, no going outside when it is 20 degrees, my wife "might not" mind to be around me cause I won't stink, cost is alot lower too. Only bad part is now I need to detail my car cause it stinks like cig smoke....lol. Going really good right now.

Thanks for the congrats. I was afraid of access and cost to what I needed/wanted but this place seems reasonable. I paid $56.60 for 2-900mAh ego-c upgraded batteries, wall charger, usb chord, tank and 18mg USA mix juice. E-juice for 30mL bottles are $14.15 or $7.55 for 10mL. He also has the 5mL bottles for $3+. I didn't think that was too bad, just starting so....
Anyway, thanks again.

Lol! Just be around a smoker, whether they're smoking or not, and the smell alone will put you off soon enough! Seriously, it's GROSS!!!!x

Hi all, just joined this wonderful forum.
I am too an e-cig newbie, 5 days without smoking analogs after about 17 years of smoking a pack of the strongest cigarettes around a day. I can't believe how easy it is. I haven't had one bit of craving for normal smokes since the first pull out of my Ego-T kit.
I was just wondering though. I bought the strongest 26mg juice that happened to be a wonderful taste and although it's working out great, is it a bit too strong?
Should I stick to it as it's doing it's job or should I try lowering with the next order. I seem to be vaping about 1 filling of my 1.3ml mega cartridge a day, sometimes a bit more(about 2ml a day) on an off day but that's without restricting myself at all. It's becoming my best friend:unsure:
I was reading about side effects from nicotine overdose but besides the dry feeling in my throat from time to time I don't have any side effects, either nicotine overdose related like heartburn or headaches or nicotine withdrawal symptoms like cravings for analogs.
Anyway, I am worried I don't feel any cravings for analogs because I am maybe overdosing myself on nicotine although I surely have a high tolerance it seems. I definately don't have withdrawal symptoms because I've tried 3 times giving up the cigarettes before and I know I felt like crap, nearly dying:blush:
So my question is, how do you guys and girls know which is the highest/lowest mg/ml content that you works but is not creating higher tolerance for nicotine than what you've had before?
