Hello everyone!

I received my Lavatube VV yesterday and its awesome!

I am using madvapes tank with dual coil cartomizers (1.5ohm) and I have a few 2.5ohm.

For me its the best combination so far. I am still waiting on my new boge cartos to arrive and I will be able to test them too.

I have to say that it really feels good in the hand, its easy to use and the voltage adjustment is pretty straight forward.

Another thing that I really like is that you can see the battery voltage, which will tell you that the battery is running out on charge (click 5x on the power button).

I will use it the whole week to see how much time the battery will last and I will update this topic.

Thank you everyone who recommended this PV it does really worth every cent (well at least so far so good)

Hello dekalbave,

I am waiting my boge cartos to arrive and I will definitely use them.

I bought Boge 3ohmn stainless steel.

Once I test it I will update this thread with more info.

Using the LR cartos the Lavatube will "fix" the voltage to avoid to get the carto burned, even on dual coil (so as I've read) so I will wait the boge to give it a try and test the voltage.

Just curious, sh, are you using Boge ~3.0 cartos at 4.7V on your LavaTube? If so, I'm wondering what juices you are using, because when I go that high on mine, the taste seems to be altered, and for the worse, even thought I know it's only a little over 7W of power.

Thanks.

I use boge 3.0 in a tank on my provari and with a full battery on your LT you should be good to 6V, me personally i seen to vape between 4.7 - 5.5V, on sweeter vapes 5.2V-5.5V , all others 4.7V to 5.2V. just to give you an idea. IF your juices taste burnt on boge 3.0 it could be one of 2 things either the carto poly is already burnt from dry hits andyou'll need to replace the carto or the boge is not really 3ohm but 2ohm. are u using a tank ?

My boge cartos will arrive tomorrow, but in the meanwhile I have a good comparison between dual coil 2.5ohm and 1.5ohm.

As for the 1.5ohm (dual coil) first, you will use up to 3.7V on it and the taste is awesome, the Lavatube will limit itself on the output voltage so dont bother to raise the voltage more than 3.7V for these cartos.

Also, for the 2.5ohm (dual coil) you will raise the voltage up to 5V and you can notice a big different in taste and vapor too. I found that 4.2V on 2.5ohm dual coil cartos are perfect for me with tabacco juices that I have.

I am looking forward to test the same on Boge 3.0ohm to run a comparison with the same juices I am using on 1.5 and 2.5 dual coils. I will post more info here later.

I love the 2.5 duals on this thing...they do seem made for it. They fire fast and hit really hard at anything over 4v and I was able to take mine up to 5.5, but it was beyond what I needed. I love the LT so far. Just a note of warning...those 1.4-1.5 tanks will eat battery much faster (at least on mine). I get much better battery time with the 2.5's

Hey sh_,

The 2.5's you are using, are they single or dual coil? And are the Boge 3.0's that you ordered pre-punched or are you going to do that yourself? If they are pre-punched, could you please provide a link where you bought them?

Thank you,
JG

Hello,

I finally received my boge 3.0ohmn single coil and I've tested them on LT. It works perfectly, didnt had any issue with the threads (I've seems a few comments about LT and the thread issue but I was not able to find any issue so far).

As far as voltage goes, I was able to test the voltage up to 5V. I didnt test more than 5V so far but the combination of LT + Boge 3ohm is perfect.

I didnt punch any carto yet because my tanks are dual coils and I dont want to cut the plastic tube myself.

I've ordered them with a friend here from ECF directly from Boge, and we bought them in bulk so is was cheaper... but you can find it here:

Question for the lavatube fans out there??..how are your buttons holding up?, I have suggested this to three different people over the course of two months and the "fire" buttons have stopped working and have been sent back in for a swap or repair...bad batch or common problem?

Hmmm for me I didnt find any issue yet and I hope I dont find any at all :D

The fire button is very clicky and I liked because it does not have any light, so once it "clicks" you know thats working.

I am not using tanks with boge's (yet) but I am planning to.

I didnt test with more the 5V with my juices and I have a 3.7V where I use boges (Riva SE) and its really good combination too.
