Got my LR 510 cartos today!!!

I got mine today, too... but from a different supplier. I'm sorry! I placed the order the day before you put them on your site!!
But I did order the 4081s AND an ego from you guys.
That's exactly how I feel - vaping with anything else is just not as good by comparison, LOL.
I just wrote up my review on them on the LF website!
Hey, anyone come across a "bad" one of these cartos?
I filled a new one this morning, and stuck it on my eGo, and when I pressed the button it started SMOKING out the bottom.
So i took the cap off the carto and pressed the button again to see what was going on in there... and it lit up like a christmas tree. Like, molten-lava orange in the center.
...what was that all about?

Dooter, Imagine hand rolling about 2000 of them a day sitting at some table with 100 other people, they have to blow a few in the process I'm sure, heheh
Yea.... It happens. Not a lot. I've been using cartos almost exclusively, for almost a year and a half. I've had that happen with one carto. It was also BOGE.
I recently (as did many) got a bad batch of cartos (the battery killer kind) from another vendor. They were a different make, however.
Boge has a pretty good track record. They make one of the best cartos on the market.
But do, please keep me updated. If the QC is slipping, this is something I need to be aware of!

No problem! I certainly expect to get a couple duds now and then. I just thought I'd announce it because it was the first bad Boge I ever got!

I have now used 22 low res and 10 regular res boge 510 cartos and not 1 has been bad yet. (Knocks on wood)
Now that I said that, the 8 new ones I have left will explode like firecrackers.
Can someone tell me what brand has been referenced as the battery killer carto? Or how to identify them? Are they the gold threaded cartos? I have seen a few people mention 510 cartos, that are not boge, that have killed batteries. I am always looking to try new things but I don't want to try the battery killers. lol.

The ones I'm referring to were from Trueman e-cig, and were available through a few suppliers. They we're my favorite carto for some time. One of the deciding factors for me to switch back to the 510! Then the QC began to slip, until it fell of the deep end. The 808d-1 cartos they offer, are allegedly free of this defect. They had golden threads (the 510s), and were available in a variety of beautiful colors. It's truly a shame.

Ah crap! I forgot this thread was in the LF forum. I went to "my posts" to find this again so I could post that I cursed myself by saying I had no issues. Because now I am having issues.
The cartos that I am having issues with are not from LF. I got them from a different vendor. Because of that, I am moving my issues out of the LF forum.

Ty, sorry for posting in your forum directly. But, I certainly appreciate your comments. It shows that you are dedicated to your customers. I am a LF customer, just not these particular cartos so I don't want to associate the issue I am having with LF.
