Returning vaper: hey i'm back at vaping 4 weeks (started last year but had a long analog relapse) I got an ego tank and it seems a step ( a half-step) in the right direction but the leaking and the fast fading atomizers are already getting me down (2 weeks) I know there must be a better place in the forum to ask this and i might start a new thread but do i understand this correctly that a MAP tank is a plastic chamber into which a chopped down E2 Cartomizer has been grafted to create a sort of cartomizer tank? Is there such a thing as a commercially produced cartomizer tank? is that what a clearomizer is supposed to be.?

I guess i'll go start a new thread but if anyone is still reading this appreciate a reply.

You are correct, the MAP tank uses a chopped up CE2 cartmiser. The CE2 and the Clearomiser are tank type cartomisers. The only difference is that you can see the liquid with the Clearomiser. And the MAP tank lets it hold more liquid.

Yepster, I would use the higher ohm CE2s for 5v.

Got mine today too.... but

Sadly, it wasn't the one I ordered the one I got is a mini. I've sent a message to see if I can get the full size one, but now I have to wait even longer to try this thing out :(

are you sure? I expected mine to be bigger as well, but it was indeed the regular one. What makes you think you received the mini?

According to the description the mini-MAP uses the regular and the standard-MAP uses the XL CE2 guts. The one I received takes regular CE2 guts not XL. And, I ordered it with a 2.8 ohm rating and the package was marked 3.2, so I think its a mix up.

Added photo. Middle is XL, right is regular CE2.
