Might as well talk to all you folks about my new toy since I can't watch TV. Looks like all I'm going to get tonight are weather reports. Oh well, guess that's just life in Tornado Alley.
Got home tonight to find my new Lea Kross in the mailbox. Only had it a couple of hours, but so far I'm impressed! My other PVs are pen styles, RN4072 and DSE801 so I really don't have a lot to compare to, but I'm very pleased with this. TH is great, in fact a little overwhelming. It draws much easier, and I'm deliberately drawing on it for less time while getting better TH, more vapor, and better flavor than I'm used to. The strange "new" taste I've experienced with my other PVs is so little I'm not even really sure it's not entirely my imagination. I think it's very attractive and also quite comfortable to hold.
This is my first experience with both cartomizers and manual batteries. I did also order a syringe for filling it, mostly just to up my order to qualify for White Stag Vapor's free shipping. I'm glad I did. It was fairly easy to fill and seemed to hold a good amount based on how much I took out of the bottle. The manual battery still throws me sometimes. I go to draw and get nothing only to realize I haven't pressed the button. I think I will like the manual battery better once I get used to it since I've noticed some, not much, unintentional activation of the automatic ones. I'm thinking that should make this one last longer.
Also my first experience using a pass-through charger, which I'm doing now. I plugged the battery in to charge and the light went green immediately then turned off so it seems the thing shipped pre-charged. I think I will really like that the battery signals its strength. No more guessing how close I am to needing to recharge. Since most of my workday is spent at a computer I figure I can leave it plugged in while at my desk and just unplug it when I want to take it out with me. Should be much better than carrying around 2-3 spare batteries, especially since I walked out of the house one day last week and forgot my spares! I think I will look into getting a second battery once White Stag has them in stock again. Currently they show out of stock in all colors.
The hard case it came in will fit in my purse, even though I really don't need to take much besides the unit and charger. Don't really need the adaptors and extra cartomizers, but it will make a good way to keep it protected. I'm really very pleased with this so far!
Sirens just sounded so guess I should take a look at what's going on outside and pay attention to the weather reports.
