Pros:
Good build quality
rba works good with juices less or equal to 50% VG

Cons:
OCC is for noobs and it gives out less flavor and vapor than my build
80% VG = burned taste simply because the holes are as small as a .......n needle on the rba

Summary: 80% VG vapes OK with the OCC but limited flavor and OCC are for noobs in general and cost a lot in the long term . Ive never supported anything that is not rebuildable and never will . I usually rewick every day or 2 and swapping OCCs ever day would cost me a lot of money because I am all about the fresh taste . This tank would have been awesome if Kanger didnt have just the noobs and in mind and made the RBA the way it is suppose to be .

Honestly though , this tank looks and feels way too good AND I can use it with my thinner liquids so it is defenatly not garbage . My orchid will take care of them thick liquids with ease and I have 6 of them so I dont really care . Another thing is that the subtank says its juice capacity is 6ML but with the RBA it is 4ml which is not stated in the description and which to me is way more important since the OCC dont matter .

So yea , I tried all of its functions and im giving it a solid 6/10 mostly because of the design and the ease of use and being able to work with OCC and RBA . You have to make the noobs happy right ?

Well, I have been vaping for 3 years, and since I am proficient at rebuilding both RTAs and my RDAs, along with DIY on my juices for over a year now, I am guessing that in most circles, I wouldn't be considered a noob. Yet, I own several subtank minis, and I usually use the OCCs versus the RBA section. Why.....because there are times when I am lazy, busy, etc and it is easier and quicker to pop in an OCC coil, versus re-wicking or re-building. Now, with my Delta IIs, I admit that I use the RBA section versus the pre-made coils.

Lots of seasoned vapers use stock coils, for the easy factor or you just get sick of rebuilding for awhile, it's not just for "noobs", lol. Also a lot of people find rebuilding the subtank OCC's to be pretty easy, FYI, if you want the juice capacity, but like you I found the flavor lacking with the OCC as well, and I'm certainly with you on preferring to build my own.

Anyways, none of it really matters because the Subtank "Plus" just came out, it's the OG subtank with improvements, it now holds 7ml of juice in RBA mode. Our OG subtanks are now officially obsolete :(

Remember, we were all noobs once... No need to be so narcissistic. The vaping community is a humble one and we all help eachother out.

lol. This tank is pretty good, but I think it is aimed at people who want the sub-ohm feel but the conveniency of OOC's, regardless if theyre 'noob' or not. Technically they do have an RBA section for the subtank as well, to satisfy those who wanted it. I personally dont like the AFC on it or the giant size of these new tanks, but i wouldnt sprew the word noob noob noob this is for noobs etc. Maybe I have a different view on the word 'noob' but the way people use it now seems like the word is used in a way to demean the people being called it.

I'm no expert but I don't consider myself a noob as well. Similar to LMS62, I still use both...on normal or free days..I'll go with the RBA. However, if I'm too busy (or lazy), I just pop an OCC coil and vape away. So...in my opinion, I like Subtank's flexibility to give me that option. It's not a cloud or flavor winner...but it good enough to satisfy.

I have the subtank mini and I love this thing. I don't understand why you say the OCC coils are for noobs? Not everyone drips and I would prefer the coils over dripping while driving anyways since I mostly vape in the car. I'm using the 1.2 coils right now and I don't see anything wrong with the smoke but the taste cold be a little stronger but I can still taste my juices fine. Not everyone who doesn't drip is a "noob".

the rba section is just a rebuildtable section of the tank, it doesnt require you to drip, it still functions the same way as a tank if the OOC are in or the RBA section is in the tank. I think the OP just got the subtank without the RBA section? doesnt the mini come with an RBA section?

.. You don't drip with the rba. You just rebuild and it brings the fluid from the tank through the bottom, thats what the slots are for. Look up a youtube video about building the rba and save some money.

Ah my mistake thought the RBA was for dripping now that I know it doesn't require dripping I might give it a try I always thought it was for dripping.

yeah give it a try, saves you a bunch of $ on coils once you get the hang of it. the OCC coils are what, around 3$ a piece? the cost of the coils ont hese new tanks going up made me swap to rebuilding, last premade coils I used were the 10$ 5pack kanker ones for aerotank and I was bustin through a single coil within 2 days because I just cant vape when the flavor is all muted and low vapor production from a dying coil.

It's a good tank to get if you're unsure of whether or not you want to build your own coils, only because you can use pre-built coils, but the flavor is meh. My friend has one, I tried to advise him against it but he got it.. And he hates it. He uses it to smoke juice he doesnt like cause he can't really taste it lol

If you want the full experience of an rta, id go with a taifun gt2 since they're super easy to build.
