I got my v2 today, no switch issues yet. knock on wood.
no burnt juice taste,

But I have an issue with the top adapter threads. They are hardly there. I was scared to screw it back together after inspecting the switch for delrin flakes.

The warranty states that cross threading is not covered. But why are the threads not as well machines as the battery cap end. That piece screws on perfect. The adapter piece not so much. I will post some pics of it later. As its working now and I dont want to take it back apart.

Get some Noalox.

Yes I agree, there are only 3 threads on the adapter end be very careful with this end. The way I see it you take it apart 1 a week maybe, just make sure you aren't in a rush.
You know the old saying "Take a step back before you take a step forward"

I would like to see a few more threads up top myself.

What is cross threading? I have seen this word, but I know not what it means - I'd hate to inadvertently void my warranty!

I admit I'm not 100% sure either. But I'm assuming from its use on the forum that it means stripping the threads, like what happens with screws. The threads are stripped and won't catch/screw on properly.

This happens when the threads are not aligned properly, but the threads still catch and you continue to thread with resistance.... the resistance is the start of cross threading.

The problem is the threads catch at the wrong angle, or crooked and the end user forces it.
