Update on Prodigy V3

A couple of weeks ago, I had a issue with my 901 adapter for my prodigy v3. I thought that it got cross threaded. I panicked cause me alot of cash for over night stuff from another vendor ( ordered a bunch of 801 atties because I had the 801 adapter from PureSmoker). Well, everything turn out for the best when I recieved my 2 901 adapters from PureSmoker.

But, today Something happen to my 801 adapter. I dropped it on my tile floor, when it fell out of my pocket. And when I tried to put the adapter on it wouldnt screw all the way down. Just like my 901 adapter a couple of weeks ago.

So basically, I figured that my 801 and 901 adapters werent cross threaded the corner of the adapter got bent when it fell out of my pocket.

Now; my question for the PureSmoker team is this covered under warranty??? I could take a pic of it and post it later.

either way ... all you prodigy v3 owners pls keep extra adapters because you dont want to be like me and stuck for almost 2 and half days with out a pv.

seems strange for stainless.. I do see the concave... no way that'll thread on...

They've thinned that wall down so much with the threads it's weak..
Stainless can be very brittle.. it tends to tear and split...

I'm just throwing this out here because I'm not 100% sure what you mean and also because I don't own any 801 adapters, but I believe the picture here is an 801 (or 901) adapter, which would be quite different than your 510. Am I misunderstanding you?

You're looking at the bottom where it attaches to the battery tube...

That ding prevents it from going on the round tube...

Ah ha! If that picture shows the battery side of the adapter then I can see where the dent would interefere with the threads. I thought the px was the atty side of the adapter. Sorry about causing this confusion.
