I'm all excited, but I don't want to screw it up.
I've set it to No2 as everyone says to do.
I've been using Ego twists and clearo's.
What setting do I start at
I think, if I read it right the ohm says 2.0. with the clearo on it.
Do I just set the wattage (power) at 3.8 which is where it's running on the twist ?

Also, I've got a new carto I want to try (first carto)
Will I use the same setting when I use it ?

A little confusion here during my "upgrade"
Should I use LR or SR with the Vamo ?
Any help is appreciated.
Man ... this thing is a "club" compared to my twists !
Can't carry around a fistful of these things ...

OK
I unscrewed one of my clearos screwed it into the vamo, set the watts at 7.0 and WOW
What a difference.
Thank you people. I would of been leery to set it that high starting out.

Klynn, so I don't have to worry about what OHM I'm using, as it automatically adjusts.
That's cool. At least "it" knows what it's doing ! More than I can say for me.

Can hardly wait to try my new carto.
I'm assuming the same principles apply to it.
You guys are great
I probably would still be sucking on store bought if not for you guys.
My doctor is so happy. He asked me all about it.
Seems he has a lot of patients that want to switch and he didn't know what to tell them .
Go to ECF is the best advice you can give anyone.

My wife loves ours to. Two things we noticed, check it once in a while and make sure it is still in Watts, and if it starts acting funny, check and make sure you didn't accidently switch it to N01. I noticed when it's in NO1, the setting make no sense. I'm not sure why they even have it available when they tell everyone not to use it in that mode.

Born in Seattle moved to Bellevue in 1953.. got to retirment age, and went looking for the sunshine.

Again ..Thanks everyone for all the good advice.. sure don't want to "fry" my goodies, and
I'll watch to see that it doesn't try to do it's own thing and change wattage on me.

I've read that it occasionally switched either to voltage mode or to NO1 mode on it own, but have never had that happen with me. Whenever I have to keep it in a pants pocket for a drive or while walking somewhere, I simply turn it off and its a non-issue. I'm in RMS mode at 8 watts, 9 for some of the juices that I like to burn hotter.

Be sure you're handling your batteries properly. Never keep them on the charger when they're full. Never let 2 batteries' ends touch unless in the device (sides are ok). Store them properly (cool place, not touching, in some sort of non-conductive case). I just keep them in the bubble wrap they were sent to me when I'm not using them. And switch the batteries out when they go below 3.4 volts. The battery voltage isn't the same as the voltage you vape at. It's just an accurate reading of how full/empty the battery is. A full battery is 4.2 and the Vamo will stop firing once the battery drains to 3.3. For example, even if the battery is down to 3.5 volts, you could still fire your device at 5 volts, as the two are unrelated so to speak. This confused me when I first got into these types of batteries but its pretty clear now.

See, I knew I wasn't as smart as all you guys.
I left myself wide open there didn't I ??
Doesn't happen too often, usually it's the other way around ... and I'm the one taking advantage of the opportunity.
I'm getting worse about it too, I'm old enough now that I say what I think... I don't have to try to impress anyone..
Thanks for the laugh and the "gotcha"

Thanks for the advice Aheadatime.
I have a small box with a foam lining that the batteries came in, and I can just lay them in next to each other and there will be no contact.
I also read somewhere that it's bad news to over use or over charge them.
Seeing as I want them to last, I'll being checking them.
Sure don't want to go back to using a smaller size
