And I will start by saying its a huge improvement over the tube tank by volcano, imo. I've also read about silica and although I don't find it anywhere near as bad as the stuff in cigarettes, I still want to rebuild my heads... But I've yet to find a direct link to the materials... I like the idea of cotton and ssmesh, but the latter is a few weeks off... Could anyone give me a direct link to the materials before I try to rebuild a head with cotton balls rabbit tails and coat hangers?

You can buy Kanthal wire off ebay just figure out what gauge you want. You can get like 25 ft for like 7.50
They sell non primed and lead free candle wicks on amazon for like 7.99. I think you want the #1/0 size. Boil it before you use it.
