Ive had my kit for about 24 hours now and have had 2 analogs compared to the pack a day I have been. And Im not even putting forth much of an effort to quit. I'd like to quit but I figured I'd start by smoking an analog if I really wanted to, so as not to stress myself too much. So SMOKING ANALOGS WHEN I WANT TO, I went from a pack in 24 hours to 2, just like that. WOW! lol. Granted, it's just day one, but Im definitely liking it.

Also! While I have been quite interested in getting into vaping, my wife has been pretty skeptical. She thought it was a waste of money. She smokes a pack or a pack and a half a day and has no real desire to quit. Well I had my kit for all of two hours and she was online ordering herself one lol. Which is good bc Ive been having to fight her over mine a bit.

Congrats Joe! Was the same for me. I completely quit analogs after 2 days of receiving my Volt. Would have been sooner but I just wanted to finish my pack to get them out of the way. The whole time I had my Volt those first 2 days I kept reaching for it over my analogs anyway. I knew this was going to be a great transition.

Congrats on your imminent success of quitting analogs! And MEGA congrats to your wife for finding the desire to take up vaping as well! I am sure you will find it much easier doing this as a team.

Don't knock yourself for still smoking an analog every once in a while. I spent 2 months in a transition period, vaping all the time, but still smoking ~6 analogs per day. Then, one day, I decided NOT to go to the store and pick up a fresh pack. Since then, I have had a few analogs when out and about with friends (who still smoke), but I a wake up the next day with my throat feeling like it's on fire, so lesson learned. 6 months in, I can see people smoking, and I have about a 2 second flash in my mind about bumming one. Then, I come to my senses, pull out my PV, and all is well with the world. :)

I had a real defining moment last night. I was walking my dog and came across a nearly full pack of Marlboro Lights laying on the ground. The pack was crushed a little, but still fresh. I picked it up and took a big whiff. Ahhhhh, tobacco goodness! Upon inspection, it seemed all of the cigarettes had been crushed, but there was still one cigarette that was intact. I pulled it out, looked at it, and proceeded to crumble it twixt my fingers. Picked up the pack and tossed it in the trash. The universe tried to tempt me, and I WON! I am talking Charlie Sheen tiger's blood WIN!!!!

Ahyhoo, congrats again to you and your wife! WOOT!

That's wonderful news, Joe!

I wanted to quit, and I thought it would be pretty hard, because I'd tried the electronic cigarettes of a few years ago when they first came out (and they weren't very good). It actually took me a few tries to find a battery I liked, but once I hit Smokeless Image, there was no looking back. The Volt batteries have been very good to me.

With all the options available with our Volts, and now the Volt X2, there isn't any reason to go anywhere else for 808 batteries and their step ups. And how could your wife have resisted? So, great call on your part to take the chance to see what it would do for you, and very cool that your wife decided to follow!

I didn't quit smoking, I started vaping. If and when I want a cigarette, I have one. If I say I'm quitting, and not allowing myself cigarettes, I cause all sorts of stress and then all I want is a cigarette. If I'm not quitting, and I'm allowed to smoke whenever I want, then I'm simply choosing not to. I've smoked maybe 2 packs in the past 2 months... and every time I smoke a few (usually out with friends that smoke), I wake up and realize why I'd rather not do that anymore. This past weekend surrounded by smokers... I said I'd prefer to vape, and completely meant it.
