Got my VX2 today!

And I love the thing! I do have a few questions for those of you that have owned it for a while now though.

• The throat hit seems quite harsh for something that people claim to have little to no throat hit. Anyone else experience this? Is it because it is a new atomizer?
• I'm getting a sweet taste with both the cartridges that came with the VX2 and the Turkish Blend I got, is this the new atomizer or does all e-liquid have a sweet taste?

Other than that I have been extremely impressed, both by the product and Shawn over at Litecig. He got it to me fast (2 days) and with everything perfect and ready to go.

So thank you Shawn! Keep up the good work.

P.S. This thing just absolutely spews out vapor. Anyone looking for a e-cig that produces great vapor, this is it.

Do you like it more than the 510 (if you have one?). I have the old version of 901 that I loved, but since I got my 510 I like it much better than my 901.

The VX2 has a manual switch right? That is one of the reasons why I love my 510 so much. Nice, smooth easy draw with great taste and lots of vapor

Right now there aren't any manual batteries for the VX2, but Shawn has some coming. He will let us know when they arrive!

Hehe, I just got my Vx2 from litecig today too! I got mine in 2 days and I freakin love this thing. It's my first e-cig and the first one I actually ever even seen in person. I can't stop puffing on this thing and I haven't had a regular cigarette all day!

You mentioned the throat hit being kind of harsh, I noticed this on my first hit I coughed like a madman, lol. (coming from a pack a day marlboro red smoker) I figured out how to hit it though and its really nice now.

Did the carts that came with it taste at all like blueberry to you? they did for me...

I also sort of feel like I may be getting a little high off this thing, is that normal?

I do not have a 510 to compare it to unfortunately. But from the research I did before purchasing either unit the VX2 won it out for me.

510:

• Manual battery
• More vapor (I hear it is a close one to argue though)

VX2:

• Larger cart
• Cooler running atomizer
• No manual battery (Although Shawn has them ordered and coming in soon!)

Hope that helps a little, I have had the thing a day and have not had one analog all day. So I'm a believer, haha.

And if anyone can answer those questions that would be awesome!

Yes! The taste I'd say is almost a blueberry-ish taste. I've noticed this wearing off more so now though.

As for you being high, I think maybe you need to give that poor atomizer a rest =P. Too much nicotine! Don't worry, I used the thing non stop until I got light headed too.

You know, I actually think that high feeling I'm getting is more of a mental thing, being as thats the feeling one would expect from puffing on a little medal stick.

But yeah, I would like to know what type of liquid is used in the carts that come with it, I actually prefer them over the marlboro smooth blend liquid I bought.

I got a vial of Turkish Blend with my order and I like that, but I do enjoy the cartridges that came with it. I really want to try some fruity flavor or a coffee flavor after I break this little guy in a little more.

Oh yeah, when the light turns green on your charge does that mean the battery is fully charged? I went to charge one right when I opened it for the first time and the light was red for a few seconds and turned green, so I started puffing on it.

I got the other battery on the charger, though it is green also.

I was told to charge the battery for a full twelve hours before the first use. Although my excitement got the best of me and I cheated on one of the batteries.

I was the same as Geofresh, mine turned up today 2 days after ordering, excellent service from LitecigUSA.com I put it into the charger and it came up green, I assumed green means good to go. If not well from what I experianced this morning was well worth having to buy another battery. I was skeptic of these devices but this really is an amazing bit of kit. If you want to quit smoking do yourself a favor and get one of these.

Oh and another quick question for you VX2 owners. How is the flavor on e-liquids after breaking in the atomizer? I have heard that it is very hard to taste the liquid in VX2's from some, and that it tastes great from others.

ive learned with this device that taking very long drags can potentially kill the flavor of the liquid and even sometimes result in a bad metalic or pastic-y taste , unless you're freshly topped off. If you are freshly topped off you can get about 5 really long drags out of it before having to either re-topoff OR take shorter drags...if you dont use it this way you will get poor flavor/taste. I have 6 of them and they all work this way...it needs to be babied because these atomizers typically get too hot too fast to keep providing plumes of vapor drag after drag without a resting period...so the're not very good for chain vaporers or for folks who like to take 5 or 6 fast hits...unless of course you dont mind topping off every 5 hits or so.

Other than 80% of my batts dimming out before they reach their blinking cutoff point (ive learned a trick to keep them lit) this constant need to topoff the carts is my biggest complaint with these units.

On the other hand, I find that if you take shorter 3 or 4 second very light drags that the carts will last closer to around 25 hits before having to topoff again and the taste will be much better...you wont get tons of vapor doing this but its probably still as much (if not more sometimes) as an analog i think.

The VX2 is a great e-cig although i have nothing else to compare it too it is my first.. I cheated when i got it and didn't charge it right away i just couldn't help myself ... I get great flavor from it and an awesome throat hit... Enjoying it very much!! I may order another one

Same here, My flavor stays till my cart is dry and I take pretty long drags.

I swear man, I've tried a 901 and a 401/402 (not sure which exactly) and I've got to say the VX2 is the best. I really haven't experienced any of the problems you mentioned.
