After waiting a month for my Blu Cig to arrive, I have been trolling these forums and avidly researching different brands and models. I have come to the conclusion that the things I want in an e-cig are a good throat hit, easy drag, not too sure about manual batteries (the whole button action doesn't excite me), a PCC is a must (charging on the go will prevent me having to buy many batteries), and the form factor of an analog cigarette. The models that I have come down to are two models I have been looking at for the past few weeks from LiteCig, the VX2 and M402. Does anyone have any comparison pictures of the VX2 vs M402 vs Blu vs Analog? I am very interested in purchasing one of these models, but the form factor is something I'm worried about. Yes, I know that it's just aesthetics and not performance, but that's something that counts when I am purchasing something.

Yeah I wasnt a fan of hitting a button either but you do get used to it and you get more vapor since the batt is depending on the strength of your inhale to keep it lit.

The VX2 isis pretty big, from your wants/needs I think the 402 being a tad bit longer than BLU - I think you will be much happier with it. IMHO it way out performs BLU and as tiny as it is still gives my VX2 a run for the money except in vapor production but still its very comparable to an analog.

Ah, so your secret is out now shawn! We all now know how you answer those emails so fast!!

Also, i love my stainless steel m-402 i just got.. :D

Altho i think one of the batteries is having problems, but i am trying to charge it again just to make sure it really is a bad battery and not just a weird not charging glitch before i email you. :p

But anyways, yes Shawn rocks! I got my second kit from him yesterday along with 3 bottles of liquid and a car adapter..

The adapter works great, but they put the car power port right under the radio. So it looks kind of ......ed just hanging there.. (i have an 07 focus) i'm gonna see if i can get a usb extension cord so i can lay it down in a cup holder or something..

Oh yea the cool mentol liquid rocks too! It tasts just like a menthol ciggy to me.. :thumb: I might have to try the artic mint next. :D

why can't I edit my posts?

You need a minimum number of posts to edit your posts, and even then, you can only edit for a few days.

It looks like there's a 'hanging quite' on the post quoting yours, skewing the responses funny (not aligned properly).

Definitely you need to fill the M, and depending on the carts, may want to push the inner cart up slightly to ensure proper contact (let the atty wick settle the inner cart back in), you weren't getting much vapor on the M series (at least in the first 6 minutes..), and they can produce very good vapor.

    thanks sweetpea; very informative!

Quick! Anyone know pros/cons between m402 and 510?

There's a review or two comparing them. I guess Shawn is starting to carry the 510s?

    First e-cig = M4 series. 'want throat hit now' = 510.
    battery life = M4 series
    vapor = 510.
    cart size = 510.

The 401/2/* is great for taste testing as well, with it's exposed atty wick, just dip it into a few drops in a contact lens case or soda cap (do not drip auto batteries! dipping is fine, but needs an exposed atty like the M4*s)

If you don't have to have the 'looks like a cig' e-cig, the M201s are really very nice as well. I use all of the above (M4*/EVO, 510 and M201) regularly.

Wonderful Wegster, thank you for the informative and quick response.

If I may ask, why do you recommend the m40* for a first time vaper?

Mostly bcause it's 'like a regular cigarette.' And, it doesn't suck.

All things in e-cigs are a tradeoff at this time.
    M series plusses:
    - much like a regular cig in diameter *and* length
    - auto batteries (manuals are great, but less 'natural' for first timers)
    - good battery life
    - good overall reliability - batteries and atomizers (just no dripping)
    - good vapor, decent throat hit
    - one of the few can dip with.
    - feels very nice in hand, not too big, not too small, 'just right.'
    - has a USB passthrough available for it.

    cons:
    - no PCC (but good batteries last a good length of time)
    - cartridge size - .25ml or so, vs .5ml for 510, .55 for J118, 1ml for penstyle. Need spare carts on hand at all times.
    - not the best throat hit out there (that goes to the 510 or a mod/5vDC+ device)
    - batteries can be sensitive to noise (go off at concerts or with convertibles, etc)

    toss-up:
vapor production: My M/EVOs can rival 80% or so of my 510 with decent liquid.

Far more pros vs cons, really..I dip with them when mixing juice or trying new juices all the time, and grab it for convenience without the manual battery annoyance when I want to.

    Very well put.

I too recommend it for first time users, heck I recommend to all.

But I DO drip on my 402....I drip on all exposed attys. The VX2 we already know is a no no, I hear its okay with the 510 but I dont cause the coil is not exposed. I dont think dripping depends on auto/man batts its the atty and how easily it lets liquid flow the wrong direction.

Even though the VX2 now has man batts, I would not drip using them either. The VX2 atty is too flow freeing in either direction and could still kill a man batt.

the m series all of them produce a nice amount of warm vapor

I posted a new video with my own liquid filled cart, and you can see the tremendous difference. youtube com/watch?v=eTvI6OknGls
