got stuff today. question about PCC and cart/atty storage

Hi new member. Just got my stuff today - should have checked the forum sponsor pages and coupons - could have save some bucks - Oh well...
It was kind of an impulse .

I got 510, PCC, and some fluids. Ordered from vtvapor.

So far so good. I'll have to watch my intake - doesn't give me the satisfaction of an alalog cig, but, might be overdoing the nicotine intake. We'll see. I wouldn't mind giving up burning tobacco, and vaping nic instead - maybe one day even give that up - hey you have to dream
I'm currently smoking about 25 handrolled a day (rolling additive free tobacco with a filter)

I have a question though. I got several different flavor samples. Seems like a good idea to have an atty for each (or at least for smoke v.s. non-smoke flavour). Can I attach a loaded cart to the atty and store it that way in the PCC? Or is there too much risk of flooding the atty?

So far this forum has been very helpful - don't think my start would have been as good if I did not read here to blow out the primer fluid before using!

You might like cartomizers better, buy a pack of 5 empties and fill with different flavors. Cheaper than attys and they store ok in the pcc. Just need to figure a way to mark each flavor so you can tell the difference.

second, primer fluid sucks ...!
third to answer youre question about storing your e-cig in the pcc with the cart attached to the atty. i have never had a problem with my atty flooding out when the cart is attached to it, my thoughts behind this are that the packing in the cart that holds youre juice is going to give juice to the bridge when NEEDED, other than that it will hold the juice in there as long as youre not vaping it. good luck with giving up the analogs, i think youll find it easier than you think with vaping. keep in mind that you need to un-learn alot of things about smoking and re-learn alot about vaping. youll get it down pat in a couple of weeks.

I agree with cartomizers. It is all I use.

Use this to tell them apart if you dont get them in different colors like I do.

I guess if it doesn't leak out of the cig, it should be OK. But it sure would make a mess if it did leak - and it likely stays in the pcc longer than in the cig.

the 510PCC holds two carts, one batt, and one atty (with another cart - now a blank - attached). I don't know my usage yet, but guestimate 3-4 loaded carts a day. If I can store a loaded cart on the atty I might be able to go a day on the PCC, with one external cig.

Lots to learn - not much time - I'm taking a trip next week. Don't really want to have to carry both rolling and vaping supplies. Sucks to be addicted to inhaling nic.

haha dont we all, but hey, you are taking a step in what a lot of people here and myself included to be the right direction, when i first started vaping, i was still craving my analogs, but when i continued vaping, usually around a week, when im craving a nic fix i dont think of my analogs at all.. i think of my e-cig
and happy vaping

They are relatively new, and people are stuck in there old ways, and won't give them a try.

Cartomizers are Atty and cartridge in one piece, and refillable. You would not need to carry extra atty, because every cartomizer has one in them already.

Hmm. I'm not stuck in vaping ways yet. Guess I better start searching.

I'm guessing a cartomizer is the same length as an atty attached to a cart. Which would mean I'd have to mod the pcc to fit three. Something to check out though.

New thing I have to learn - twist the atty off the batt, DON't twist the cart out of the atty. Maybe using cartomiser would give me one less thing to learn.

actually, it does have a smell, but like a glade plug-in, not stinky death.

Strangely, I think the vapor gives my son nosebleeds, he gets them when he hangs out in my computer room/office too long. (That room is like a permanent nightclub because of the amount of vapor.I need some laser lights) My 3 dogs, and my daughter seem totally unaffected by it.

BUT, they can ALL smell it. The dogs come around when I change flavors and try new stuff that is not the norm. They give me the crooked head curious look. and my daughter asks what the new flavor is. My son just stays away so his nose doesn't bleed. I think he is allergic to PG, or it is the drying nature of it.

I started out using cartomizers, they have their place, especially for driving,
now I just skip the whole thing and just drip 2 or 3 drops right in the atty and thats it.
No filling or mess. Stick the mouthpiece back on and vape until the vapor lessons and do it again.
Frankly now , cartomizers taste to me like sucking though a pillow.

You might want to vape outside - think about it.
