I have multiple sets of both 750 and 900 mah Tenergy batteries. I actually prefer the blue 900's...far fewer spikes which cause burnt taste. Here's some info on the 900's from Amazon.com (batteryjunction.com site is flaking right now):
Internal voltage regulators...Doesn't sound too dangerous to me
There's been many discussions back and forth and thus I bought both batteries. I have experienced much better performance with the blue 900's and hardly use the yellow 750's except in a pinch. Over-charge and Over-discharge PROTECTION.
If I'm missing something...somebody please feel free to jump in here. I'm always open to info which will prevent something from exploding in my face

- Safe, build-in IC provides various protection, Thermal protection, Overcharge protection, Short-circuit protection, mechanical.
- Internal over-charge and over-discharge protection to prevent battery over use. The current will be shut off when the battery voltage drops below 2.5V.
- Modified Voltage to achieve 3.2v at full voltage; once loaded, cell voltage drops to 3.0v.
