I found a store locally and picked up a small Ego-t (vision I think?). The size of the ego made it easy to justify, also the thought of being able to stop smoking "analogs" after 20 years of zero success was far too enticing to wait for the kit that I ordered Thursday.
So far so good, I also picked up a tobacco and a grape flavored juice. The grape is better than I thought it would be and the tobacco one is worse than I thought it would be. My last full regular cigarette was at 4pm, and I took a couple of drags from one around 8pm (just to be sure
) and almost immediately put it out. I am hooked.
For anyone thinking of switching, just do it. It's not that complicated once you know what to buy. A battery, and a clearomizer (get some extras so you can have other flavors ready to go) and you're on your way. juice too. With my original order, I picked up some cartomizers (cartridge style) and I know that those will likely never really be used as it seems like they will be annoying to fill frequently.
So in all likelihood, my Kgo will be here Monday. So far, I do not regret my impatience as I now have a more portable battery to carry around.
Thank you to all of the members here (who posted their experiences with vendors and products) whose thoughts and experiences I obsessively read over for a day to help me build my knowledge of the products needed to get started. I hope that one day mine can prove beneficial to someone else new in the future.
