Gotta getta eGo...but what else is advisable?

I am planning on ordering an eGo..in fact I would have already but I am still unsure of what accessories/parts I should buy in addition to the kit.

First...Cartridges.I plan on the eGo XL empty cartridges.But cylinder or cone shape?I'll need a couple of XL Atomizers as well,so the carts and the atomizers would need to be the same style.Anyway,the cone shape seems more pleasing to the eye,but does the cylinder type really carry that much more juice?


Second....eGo XL Atomizers.Same question,cylinder or cone.

Third...batteries.No qualms here..1000mah,but how many to buy (I'll limit myself to 2,)but would 1 be sufficient?

Fourth..eliquid.This is where I become a little more undecided.

How long would 30ml of juice last the average person? (if there was such a thing as average)

I smoke 13-15 cigs a day.I thought I would get 24mg liquid in a couple of flavors,and then some 18mg in a couple of flavors,and then some low nic in a couple of flavors,so that if the 24mg is too strong,I can drop a few low nic drops to drop the nic ratio.


There are some very knowledgeable and helpful people here,so feel free to add any wisdom/experience you would care to share.

Always get 2 batts! what if one does by chance fail (oh crap!) I have the 650mah and get through 8-12 hours on each. Try a cartimizer if you haven't get a drip tip, I finally broke down and said if it is under 5 bucks I'm ordering and trying it lol. I seem to use about 3-5ml a day so 30 should last a at least a week, I tend to waste a bit trying things. always order more then you think you will need I ran out once and will never let that happen again.

I was having the same problems deciding too, so I just bought the Joye eGo-Maniac Kit .
That (other than the juice) seems to be everything you need to get going.
Maybe an EZ refill tool too for a buck.

I figured someone would suggest more batteries.Thats solid advice to be sure.I'd actually like to get one of those handy carrying cases as well,but as of now,Greenhouse doesn't carry them (at least that I saw on their website).I will be buying from Greenhouse because they will accept PayPal,and I am closer to China (for shipping time) than the US.Plus,Tim seems like a good guy.

I just looked at my order history, my liquid on-hand, and did some quick math... I could be wrong but I think 30ml lasts me about a month. Keep in mind I was a lighter smoker than many folks around here (only half a pack a day) but I suspect that is more reflected in the strength of the liquid I vape more than the volume. Hope that helps.

I buy most of my juice in 1oz bottles (which is roughly 30ml) and it lasts me around a month - I vape a LOT and before I vaped I smoked around 20 cigs a day (weekends more like 30 or more) of ultralights. My juice is 12mg nic btw (which means I can chain vape it without going overboard on nic and getting headaches lol).
I use an eGo but not an XL one so I can't help with the other questions - I just got myself a kit from cignot and that works just fine with 2 of everything I need I'm sure someone who uses the XL stuff will chime in for you though.
I would get a couple extra atties though whatever you do - if you only buy 2 and they both die fast you're going to be stuck.

That would be great if I could get 30ml to last a month scratchm...shoot..if I could get 3 weeks I would prolly be very happy.I need a nap,as it is getting late here.I appreciate EVERY post tho,and look forward to any additional insight.

Welcome to ECF. Yeah, order 2 batt's and at least 2 atty's. I'm a bit paranoid so I want 2 chargers too, they're cheap. I vape 2-3ml a day, which is about average. But I wouldn't want to run out so I'd order enough to get me through for a while, at least 60ml. But that's me. I'd order smaller 10ml bottles in different flavors so I'm not stuck with a 30ml bottle of something that I don't like. One thing to keep in mind though is that you may vape more than you smoked. I do because I don't have to go outside, and I can pick it up whenever I want and take a couple of drags.

1 fast USB charger
1 car USB adapter
1 510 Passthru (cause why use your batteries when you don't have to?)
2 Super T wide mouth contoured long drip tips
5 atomizers (901, 306, 510)
5 cartomizers (510, 801, 808)
Adapters for all your atty/cartos.
AT LEAST 30ml of juice.
