I placed a $92 order with gotvapes on june 24th, exactly two weeks ago today and it has yet to ship. not arrive.....ship.
After fighting with the post office for a week because gotvapes sent me an e-mail saying my package was shipped, and not seeing the usps tracking update for a full week. I filed multiple complaints with USPS thinking they lost my package. I also e-mailed gotvapes and was told USPS dropped the ball and lost my package and there wasn't anything they could do.
I finally got a hold of a human being with a brain at USPS (i hope you never have to deal with these people, they are aweful) The person I spoke with told me that the stamps.com e-mail i recieve about my shipment was just a label printing and no package was ever received by them with that label. Meaning gotvapes never actually shipped it. The USPS person (who was very helpful unlike the other 40 ...... I spoke with there first who would just say "i don't know where it is") even e-mailed me the scan information for that day for the location my package was supposedly dropped off at showing that it was never received by them.
I tried calling their customer support and the phone would just beep. To their credit Daniel at gotvapes called me back from a different line right away. He called chris and found out they did still have in stock the items i had purchased, one of the items was the last one they had when I put in my order. He said they would send it out the next day.
That was this Tuesday. It is now Thursday night, a full two weeks from when I placed my order, and the package still has not been dropped off to USPS for shipping.
I manage a retentions department for a large corporation. So I deal with customer service issues for a living. And I can tell you for certain when my company has failed to provide a product someone like this, because mistakes do happen, the first thing I would do after finding out about it would be to get it shipped immediately that very day and upgrade the shipping to 2 day at no cost to the customer so it would be in their hands quickly without further delay. Makes sense right?
So even if they do eventually ship it out by the time it gets here it will have been a full 3 weeks at the least. On top of that i'm really losing faith that I'll ever actually get it at this point. I got another e-mail today with the stamps.com receipt....but contacted usps and they said the tracking number on it doesn't exist just like the last one. So it seems like the same game of sending a nice stamps.com receipt but never actually shipping the order.
It's really a shame for them because as I mentioned I work for a large corporation. In the 4 weeks I've been vaping i've convinced 17 other people to try it and they all love it. Every day I get asked at least once, usually more for information about how to switch and links where to buy from. Being the first in my building to make the jump they all look to me for advice on where to buy. I was going to start telling people to keep ordering v4l liquid but to try the gotvapes carts if I liked them when they got here. But I think i'll stick with handing out V4L cards and only recommending them because every single order i've had from them has been on my doorstep 2 days later with all kinds of extra flavors to try. They may not have the fanciest new tech in cartomizers....but at least you get them when you pay for them and their juice also has amazing flavor.
Like I said, i understand mistakes happen, the real test of a good company is if they fix those mistakes promptly and properly.....which doesn't seem to be the case here.
I'll update if I ever receive my package so you guys know the final verdict.
