I am very new to the vaping world and placed 2 orders with 2 companies early last week. One of which was with Gourmet Vapors. I ordered 6 bottles of e-liquid since they have a sale going on as well as a 510 starter kit. At first I was rather dismayed to see the message stating that during a sale orders usually ship out between 7 to 14 days of the order being placed. However, since I love getting things at sale prices (I am a female ya know LOL) I just decided I would be patient.
Imagine my surprise when a mere 48 hours later I received an e-mail update stating my order had been shipped and should arrive within 3 to 5 business days! I was very excited! I was even more excited when the mailman handed me my package 48 hours after I received the e-mail update!! I tore open the box to gaze at my new goodies. Ruh-Roh. Something wasn't right....
The 510 kit was supposed to have come with a drip tip, 5 blank carts, and 3 sample bottles of e-liquid. Those items were missing from my order. I then looked at the bottles of liquid and KNEW something was definitely amiss. First off my 60ml bottle of 36mg unflavored nicotine was not in there either. Oh no!! Then there was 7 bottles of e-liquid but 2 of them were NOT what I had ordered in my choose 6 and pay for 4 deal! Huh???
I immediately called their toll free number and was connected right away with a very friendly customer service representative. I explained the situation and she apologized for the inconvience and assured me she would get it straightened out. The good news was, one of the bottles of E-liquid was a freebie that every order was getting since it was still close to Father's Day (Dad's Peach Cobbler) so that explained 1 bottle of e-liquid I didn't order. But what about the one marked "Desert"??? Not "Dessert", but "Desert" as in sand, heat, sun, and possibly Camels. LOL
Apparently someone created their own custom mix, named it, ordered it, and I received it instead of them.
Wonder if they got my 60ml bottle of unflavored nic juice in it's place? LOL At any rate the CS stayed on the phone with me for quite some time as I had questions about the 510 starter kit as well and patiently explained everything that I asked her regarding the kit in a most friendly and helpful manner. She told me not to worry, that my missing items would be sent out immediately, and wow she wasn't kidding!
I checked my e-mail a short while later only to find a new e-mail notice from Gourmet Vapors stating my order had already been shipped! Complee with tracking number and everything. Now THAT is service!!
Considering it was so close to the weekend when I called I already expected I wouldn't be getting my missing items until at least tomorrow (Monday the 27th). I haven't checked the tracking number yet but considering how quickly the last order came from them I'm fairly sure it will indeed arrive in tomorrow's mail. I'm also quite certain that if for some reason they don't get my partial order correct that I won't have any troubles at all if I need to contact their Customer Service Department again.
If there is one thing that will cause me to be a loyal customer to a company it is great customer service and Gourmet Vapors receives an A++ from me in that area! During a huge sale things are hectic and mistakes get made. It happens. To have a customer service rep. be so friendly and accomodating never fails to make it "all better".
