So, I bought a GP 510 a little while back for a friend of mine who wanted to get into vaping. I tried to talk him into an eGo style, but he wanted something more analog-style, so he wanted the 510.
Anyhow, he just gave it back to me because it's dead. Apparently they've been giving him problems for quite some time. So I tried both batteries, and they seem to be doing the same thing. They light up for a few seconds but will not fire up an atty. Light stays lit even after releasing the button, but never fires up the atty. I'm going to give them a charge here for a spell and see what I can find out. I'm not familiar with the 510s myself, so I don't know if maybe that's a normal 510 dead cell thing, or if there are other problems.
What I'm wondering is, if that's not a normal dead battery thing, what could that imply? Or...is it just a normal "your battery's dead" indicator?
Any tips?
